Tldr get the mango with sweet sticky rice - Edit
I already adore Thai food and Kati Vegan Thai did a great job with every dish. For takeout I got the devil wings, larb makua, the basil fried rice, the masaman curry and the mango with sweet sticky rice dessert. The Devil Wings were still crispy when I picked them up. The eggplant in the larb makua was excellent. I would order something other than the basil fried rice next time. It had a nice heat but was lacking something. Masaman curry is usually one of my favorites and this was an excellent dish. The mango with sweet sticky rice though really stood out. The mango was impeccably ripe and the sticky rice was a perfect companion. The rice is even dyed blue with blue butterfly pea flower which makes a gorgeous navy blue.

Consistently good - Edit
Everything is vegan! Some Thai places will make things vegan upon request but then they just remove all the flavor without adding a vegan equivalent. It’s so nice to be able to order food that was intended to be vegan.
Read moreTheir Massaman curry is great but not very spicy. You can ask for spicy condiments though and they’ll bring you sambal, chili flakes and sriracha. My partner tried the kuay tiew noodle dish and really enjoyed it. I thought it wasn’t bad but definitely preferred the curry.
Pros: Everything is vegan , Delicious cocktails
Cons: Expensive, Curries could be more authentic, Not enough spice

Decent Vegan Thai - Edit
I really liked the purple rice and the cucumber side salad. The yellow curry was pretty good but kind of thin and only had to like two pieces of potato and was mainly just sauce. The fact you have to buy any rice with a curry is odd, it should at least come with white rice. The roti though... It was terrible. Very doughy and not cooked well. Overall, enjoyed the meal but I prefer Araya's for vegan Thai much better

Uniquely Delicious - Edit
We love Thai. We thought, “Huh, a vegan Thai place. Hopefully it’s decent.” It was more than decent. It was fantastic. So many delicious flavors.

Improved since my last visit - Edit
I visited here soon after they opened a few years ago and had a room-temperature, not-very-flavorful pad see ew that did not particularly entice me to return. Lately, they seem to have stepped it up . We had a very good massaman curry and a decent red curry. I personally think that a meltingly soft & creamy silken tofu would have been superior in the red curry to the regular tofu they use.
Read moreRice portions are separately priced, stingy, and the serving setup is bizarre: we weren't given separate plates, and you had to put the (tiny) rice into the curry bowl, which makes for porridgy leftovers later. If you're going to charge separately for rice, I'd like to have at least enough to have with my leftovers.
Ambience and speed were great. Drinks were delicious.

Disappointed:( No rice with curry?? - Edit
Ordered the papaya salad and green curry. The papaya salad was okay but not spicy at all. But the curry... the curry was Essentially just soup.
Read moreI've NEVER been to a Thai place that didn't serve rice with their curry. It didn't say that anywhere on the menu that you must order rice separately. It does have an add rice at top, but I thought it was for extra. It's bizzare.
And that's an extra $4 on top of a $18 curry! And the curry was bland!😒
This was supposed to be my birthday dinner too. I really wanted to like this place. The staff was very nice, and offered a refund when we complained. But we paid anyways because we liked the salad. At least serve rice with your curry or say it's a soup on the menu.😒

Why do you give so many 3 star reviews? It's pretty crippling to a business. Especially a small one...

Because the food is sub par. I'm not giving a good rating just because it's a small business ??? I'm honest.

Exceptional Food - Edit
Best fried rice I've ever had, flavor-packed and not dripping with oil as they seem to be in certainrestaurants. The green curry is soothing, I wish the portion size was a little bigger.

Lovely Thai food - Edit
The food here is awesome and there's a lovely drink selection. Staff are polite and COVID protocols followed well. I've deducted one star because I ordered the Thai-rish iced tea, which was a Thai tea with whiskey, one of their special cocktails and found that the non-dairy milk curdled. I was a bit disappointed to be served that, but other than the cocktails, I do recommend!

Take out container is weird? - Edit
The take out containers have a layer at the bottom, almost like parchment paper. As a result of that along with the food we ordered, the noodles got stuck so it was tedious to try and get the broke noodles towards the end. Delicious food!

Vegan Thai in downtown Seattle - Edit
Really cute spot conveniently located to YMCA. I got the Curry Fried Rice. It was beautiful, but had a very strong chili flavor which overwhelmed it. I didn’t love it, and I wished I had gotten something else. I also tried the potstickers, which I thought needed a tad more seasoning. I would definitely go back and try a different dish.

Amazing! - Edit
I had the pineapple fried rice without raisins and the only thing I would change is the curry. It was still really good though! My absolute favorite was the artichoke cream sticks!! I'll be adding them to my order every time.

Great flavors, delivery w/o 3rd party! - Edit
The khao soi, devil wings, and potstickers were all amazing and held up well in transit. They do their own delivery for a small fee, so you don’t have to interact with a 3rd party delivery service!

Fav Thai in Seattle but Small Portions - Edit
This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. Food is delicious and we love that you never feel gross after eating their food. We especially love their massaman curry.

Great Take out Option - Edit
This is one of my households favorite vegan take out spots. The fact that you can get the papaya salad on a vegan menu is a huge selling point alone. Sensible portions, great taste, very fresh...and has waste conscious take out containers.

Must-try Seattle vegan fare - Edit
We stopped for lunch on a Tuesday and we’re seated immediately. The server gave us wonderful suggestions and highly encouraged we order something with the fried garlic jackfruit. We went for the sticky rice and jackfruit appetizers and were blown away by the flavor and textures. Highly recommend. For the main dish we had the pad Thai, curry noodles, and kuay tiew. We all loved the flavors and were very full after eating. We tried the Thairish Tea and Cider on Tap as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant! I was the only vegan in a party of 3, but the omnis in our group were just as pleased. They are offering dine-in with contactless menus.
