Amazing food - Edit
Amazing flavoured food in a friendly, cosy and clean atmosphere. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The paw shaped dessert is great, it's a very flavoursome chocolate and peanut moose covered in chocolate. Dumplings with salad were also amazing. The cats were quiet and adorable.

Make sure you book, gets reserved real quick (super easy to book online) the food here was really tasty better than we expected and good portion sizes, we shared a breakfast. You must get a hot drink, comes with the cutest cat paw on and the snickers dessert comes as a law and tastes incredible ! A must. The cats roam freely and we had one come over for loving 😍 went to sleep next to my husband.

Although the kitchen closes at 20.15 hrs we gave it a try at 20.30 hrs. If we decided what to eat within 10 minutes we could still eat overthere. The staff is very friendly and helpful with giving us information about the cats. At the moment there is a group of six cats living inside the Temple. They have plenty of space and lots of play furniture. Inside is also a small shop for clothing and souvenirs. On the menu they offer quite a lot of meal options. All vegan! We ordered mango smoothie, berry smoothie, acai vanilla bowl, temple sandwich, temple burger and tiramisu. Service was quick and all meals tasted excellent. The tiramisu was addictive....

Really lovely cat café/restaurant. Everything is clearly designed with the cats’ wellbeing in mind, and the atmosphere is super cosy. The burgers aren’t very big, but they’re really tasty.
Read moreI was a bit surprised (and honestly a little uncomfortable) to be rushed to pay while my partner was in the bathroom, especially since we hadn’t finished our drinks and the place wasn’t about to close. Despite that awkward moment, we’re still happy we visited and enjoyed the overall experience.

Had a great time there! The staff was incredibly friendly. Cats weren't really in the mood for pets, but I was happy to just have them around and luckily it seems like they're good about respecting the cat's wishes and asking visitors to do the same.

Sehr freundliches und zugewandtes Personal serviert sehr leckere Speisen und Getränke. Auch wenn das Mobiliar für die Menschen modern und eher Clean wirkt, fühlten wir und sehr wohl. Mit den Katzen muss man Glück haben, manche schauen Mal vorbei manche eben nicht. Katzen halt. 😸

Read moreI ordered a bunch of food and it was delicious! I haven't had pulled pork in a long time (even a vegan version). But I'm a sucker for barbecue sauce so that was incredibly appealing.
I also am obsessed with kimchi so I had to get a side of that.
I was really hungry for some reason so I also got a side of fries.
The pulled pork was really tasty and had a great texture. Of course the barbecue sauce tasted amazing. I only made a small mess with it dripping out of the burger.
The side salad was decent, but nothing special.
The kimchi was so good! It reminded me of the kind y friend made in college. It wasn't spicy at all though and I think it could use a little kick of pepper.
The fires were massive and perfectly seasoned with lots of salt. The vegan mayo was really good and I usually don't eat mayo.
I stuffed myself full!
Also the tea was hot and fresh tasting

Not only do they have cute rescue cats, but the food here is really good. And the people working here are friendly cat people. Some of the 5 cats there on the three times I visited were into checking out the guests and their rubbing fingers. The environment is quite pleasant for eating, cat-scratching, and conversing.

Read moreCompared to the store in Hannover it is not so big. But the concept is allowing the cats to move freely, withdraw from trouble, so it is fine for them.
The staff is super friendly, fast and attentive. The food is all vegan and super yummy.
We had a Banh Miau Sandwich, a Crispy No Chicken Burger and Knödelgestöber bowl - everything was fantastic!
The iced matcha latte i had was also very tasty.

Wir sind spontan in den Katzentempel gegangen weil es das einzige vegane Restaurant in der Gegend ist.
Read moreDas Essen war sehr gut - wenn man sich die Karte anschaut sollte es klar sein, dass man kein Sterne-Essen serviert bekommt aber mein Sandwich mit u.a. Planted Chicken bekommt von mir die volle Punktzahl. Besondere Erwähnung verdient das sehr leckere Brot, dass speziell für den Katzentempel gebacken wird.
Nun zu dem Punkt, den viele als Nachteil werten: Es gibt keine Garantie dafür, dass man auch Katzenkontakt haben wird während des Besuchs! Gerade in veganen Kreisen sollte dies meiner Meinung nach aber eher als etwas Positives gewertet werden. Die Katzen haben jederzeit die Möglichkeit, sich zurück zu ziehen und natürlich tun sie das auch, wenn ihnen nicht nach Trubel zumute ist. Das Wohlbefinden der Tiere sollte doch immer vor den Wünschen der Besucher stehen, oder etwa nicht? Daher gibt es hierfür auch keinen Punktabzug von mir.
Pluspunkte gibt es jedoch dafür, dass u.a. die Bücher von Earthling Ed zum Verkauf angeboten werden - der aktuell wahrscheinlich beste "Influencer" der veganen Szene.
Also, wenn ihr in der Gegend seid und Lust auf leckeres Fastfood habt: geht hin! Wenn ihr Glück habt, könnt ihr sogar eine süße Katze streicheln ;)
