Didn’t try any food, but the waffles looked good! Had a delicious coffee, and enjoyed the general Vibe of the place, with fun colours and decorations. I was quite disappointed in how the bathroom was kept though! No toiletseat, what kind of weird wannabe edgy Vibe is that? Kind of disgusting.
First time there I had the vegan frühstuck, it looked amazing and it tastes even better! Afterwards came back for a waffle, and some ice coffe because the atmosphere of the shop is just so relaxing. Would really recommend going here for breakfast or an in between snack!
The service at this place is very friendly and cheerful and the offerings of vegan waffles and ice cream are great. Cute, bourgeois vintage vibe and great seating area outside for good weather
I'm not much of a sweet tooth, so I couldn't eat even half of my waffle, but it sure was tasty! I love the cute interior, they pay attention to every detail there. A bit overpriced though.
Why are the vegan waffles way more expensive than the non-vegan ones?
Having said that, I'm grateful for the option. And they're really good. Most of the ice creams are not vegan but the sorbets are good, as are the hot toppings. My favourite combo is the waffle with hot cinnamon apples or blueberries, with the caramelised almonds and a scoop of ice cream. Even though it's more expensive than the vegetarian option, it's still cheaper than most places.
Interior is retro cool and it's next to mauer park. There are large bathrooms and outdoor seating.
Downsides are the staff are sometimes not THAT friendly, and it takes a while to get your order - especially when the line is long to order which it often is on a weekend
We stopped by for the vegan gluten-free waffles and they're amazing! They have a choice of about 6 of 7 toppings and they also have about 7 or so vegan sorbets you can add on top too. I had blueberry waffles with passionfruit sorbet and it was the best! There's seating inside and outside and the people working there were very nice too. Will definitely be back every time I'm in Berlin.
