Quick lunch spot - Edit
This is a great spot for a light lunch. I had the shawarma wrap and it was very refreshing, although it could have been a bit more filling. This place is good for a quick and healthy bite rather than a super heavy or filling meal. However I only had the wrap so this might not be the case for all their items. It’s pretty convient location wise, and the staff were very friendly.

Cute little cafe - we stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the almond noodle bowl and shawarma wrap! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Would definitely return to try more!

I called in on my way to the beach to pick up some lunch to have a little picnic by the sea. They had a few options available to choose from. My bowl was good and tasted fresh! 👌🏻

I like to spend me eating out in vegan cafes and eateries. I stopped in this morning to have a cup of tea and they did not offer a simple black tea. - like English breakfast, an orange pekoe, etc.

And I will bring my own tea bag.

Affordable, healthy vegan, gluten-free lunch spot with a friendly staff, cute checker floored dining area, refrigerators with To-Go things like almond cheese, sauces from the cafe, cookie dough (not gluten-free / make sure to read if you are GF) and the quality is fantastic. I had the Cesar (I always order Cesar if I can) and this small Cesar really rocked. I had the Almond Rice Noodles and the kitchen crew was happy to sub tempeh for the baked tofu. I also gotta say totally surprise by the Warming Celery Broth came in a sort of to-go coffee container and was shockingly everything I needed!

I wanted to like it here but it's just not worth the money. My chickpea curry was cold and took them a while to make, and the serving was so small that I still felt hungry when we left. My boyfriends smoothie was yummy but also quite small for the price. Overall pretty unimpressed. I liked the the downtown location more, where I had the beet poke, but I'd still say the food is just so-so. Probably wont be going back unfortunately :(

Read moreThis particular location however needs a good cleaning. The seat cushions are stained, with crumbs and dirt around them. The floor is often sticky with grime in the corners.
The kitchen looks spotless and the food prep is flawless. Still, I feel compelled to get my order to go.

This cafe offers bowls that have lots of flavour and don't leave you hungry. Also the selection of drinks is interesting. For example, you can even get a cup of broth! Coffee, tea and kombucha are offered as well.

Tried the tofu scramble bowl, the portion size was proportional to the price. Great flavours without using too many oils etc. The vegan coconut milk yogurt was also tasty. Will def go back!

Nice food but accompanied by a deafening fire alarm test - Edit
I had the lentil bowl - fresh and tasty. I'd like to give this 4 happy cows as it was quite nice food. But during my meal there was a fire alarm test and it kept getting tested. It wasn't the cafes fault but there was no care for the customers - no pre-warning, or apology, or even any real acknowledgement that it was taking place and how deafening it was. It really tainted my experience and I left earlier than I wanted with a headache.

The food was quite creative and tasty, also presented beautifully. The place is very small though, and can get hot inside in summer. My favorite was golden laksa, perfectly flavored and creamy with coconut milk (I don’t know how it should taste though). The edamame hummus on coastal macro was also good and the cold rice noodle was not so bad. The portions are not big but not small either. $11-13 per menu. Oh the ice cream they had was nice, though a bit pricey. Think the plain coconut one was my favorite.
