Read moreThis place optimised the burgers, because you can create them yourself and not only choose the patty but also the sauces, sides, bread and toppings. We were so exited about it that we wanted to try two burgers and nothing else. Sadly, they didn't have the jackfruit patty because it is not the season. So we had a mushroom patty and a eggplant. Both were really tasty. First I was not sure if we should order mushrooms, because they often loose their taste in a patty but this wasn't the case! It was delicious and the sauces (we had pesto, chimichurro and tahin) are excellent!
I thought I could not be happier, but then I ordered a dessert ball (dates, cashew, almonds --> sugar & gluten free!)! Jummmmm!
I can highly recommend the place.

Cute little place. It's nice that you can build your own burger. I had the lentil patty which was good. The grain bun was ok, a little dry. Took the fries on the side. They have many sauces to choose from, mayo and chimichurri are super delicious!

I love their burger creations and the possibility to choose from so many patties, ingredients and toppings. The fries are also really delicious, it just becomes a huge portions. Hehe. So the salad as a side is also a nice options. I also loved the gyros, the empanadas and their desserts.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Antigua - Edit
Set in a beautiful garden with a wide selection of veggie burgers and bowls, La Bruja is a must try. The Azteca bowl was fantastic, very fresh and nutritious and with a delicious lemon salsa. The chef and owner spoke with us about all the organic/local produce that makes the flavors so rich. Will definitely be back.

I had the mushroom tacos which tasted very fresh. My friend had the sweet potato fries which were nice and crispy. The plating was very colorful! Beautiful location and great customer service. Highly recommend! :D

Really beautiful spot in courtyard, lovely staff, candles on the tables, plants hanging from the roof ! I had the smoked tempeh taco, and it was very fresh and tasty yummy tempeh, would have loved to try all four flavours of them instead of having to choose one, and would have liked some more guacamole in there as well ;)

We recently visited La Bruja in Antigua Guatemala, a small and cozy restaurant vegan/vegetarian with a great variety of deliciousness!!! Great smoothies and alternative of fresh drinks!!! Very pleasent and definitely going back soon!!!!

On my first vacation to Central America, I went first to Guatemala, a beautiful country and very friendly people! but I needed to eat some delicious food so I spent part of my day looking for a place but, to tell the truth many places were very similar where I come from, also they did not catch my attention but one caught my attention and it was "La Bruja" The food that I saw from the photos were incredible since they were huge and they looked like a 100% American hamburger! So without further ado I go to the place in question, when I enter it was like very different from what one is used to, the place itself is like hidden but it looks very nice I mean, it was very nice, now, the attention they have with customers (from what I saw) they treat you with an attention to detail that is enormous and that already makes me fall in love The one who attended me was I think the owner and he was very charismatic hahaha, well besides that, excellent service.now it's time to taste the food ... If you want a hamburger you have to prepare it yourself, something I never saw hahaha I chose the kosher falafel with the gluten free bread and with some tostones and for the topping I chose vegan cheese. MY GOD but what a DELICIOUS thing I have ever tasted in my LIFE, the falafel was great and the bread is super squishy !!!! the vegan cheese was exquisite very enjoyable to eat. Everything was very tasty and in the drinks I asked for an Argentine mate, I didn't know what it was, I thought it was like Coca Cola but it was like drinking grass but it left a pleasant taste in your mouth and the drink was also hot hehe (I perspired like crazy drinking a single sip of mate), but hey, I was really impressed with the food, it was very good! If you are a tourist and you are in Antigua, I recommend you go to La Bruja Also that I forgot to comment is that they speak English in the place and that gives them an extra point to the place. In short, a very good place to hang out with a nice atmosphere and good music, it is also twice as great if you are accompanied by a friend. I totally recommend this place to anyone!

Soy atleta Vegano y suelo ir a correr La Ultramaraton de Guatemala, y para mí visitar La Bruja antes y después de la competencia es un Oasis, no hay nada como nutrir la máquina de esa proteína vegetal previo a la competencia y luego sustituir todo el desgaste con toda el poder de las plantas y la gran calidad de ingredientes completamente orgánicos que tiene La Bruja, la atención es maravillosa, el lugar es sin igual, por eso considero que es toda una experiencia vegana.
