Heerlijk gegeten en personeel denkt graag mee - Edit
Opvallend dat alle bediening direct wist welke gerechten vegan zijn of gemaakt kunnen worden, vriendelijk helpen ze naar welke opties en mogelijkheden er zijn. Vooraf had ik een salade, als hoofdgerecht fajita's met groenten en als dessert churros met mango sorbetijs. Alle gerechten waren goed op smaak en personeel gaf bij het serveren aan dat het vegan was en ook over bijvoorbeeld kaas en zure room dat het de vegan varianten zijn. Erg lekker gegeten en goed geholpen

Vega verassing! - Edit
Als iemand die voornamelijk vega eet maar soms zeker een stukje vlees kan waarderen was dit een ware vega verassing. Samen met mijn partner het (vega) tapas menu besteld en met 5 kleine voorgerechten en 4 wat minder kleine hoofdgerechten exceptioneel lekker gegeten. Porties waren perfect, goed gekruid, super vriendelijke bediening en geen enkel moment vlees gemist. Voor iemand die de stap wil maken naar vega is dit echt een aanrader.

The staff was lovely and so careful to make sure that what they served me was vegan and gluten-free, so I felt really safe eating there. The food was delicious too. I had Fajitas de Verduras and the filling came in on a sizzling hot plate and was incredibly tasty!

A little confusing - Edit
While staff are very knowledgeable about vegan, it isn't clearly marked on the menu. Vegetarian options are marked with a "V" logo that I've always associated with vegan. The waitress explained what was vegan, what could be made vegan and what she recommended. She went pretty fast, though, so after she left, it was hard to remember all she said. For that reason, we opted for the "vegan burritos" as they were clearly vegan and asked for a vegan version of the fajitas. The fajitas came with a beautiful plate of four different salsas - each delightfully fresh and each adding a slightly different flavor to the meal. The burritos (which seemed like enchiladas to me) were filling and made really well just as is, although adding a bit of the guacamole added some nice creaminess.

Goof food, nice staff - Edit
There are several vegetarian dishes and just one specifically vegan item on the menu. But the staff advised us to go for the Saludo de Cocina, which is originally with chicken. They left out the chicken, added more veggies and replaced the cheese with vegan cheese. And it was delicious!

Very friendly chef - Edit
A few options. The make can make some dishes vegan. Like the nacho’s and the quesadillas. I had the big burrito vegan and the quesadillas. They give us a corona beer for free. Very friendly people.

They have a few options. Burrito, big burrito and a bowl. The chef can make the nacho’s and quesadillas vegan if you ask him.

Wil je weten hoe cactus smaakt? Ga dan eens eten bij La Cucaracha! In het gezellige, kleine restaurant kun je kiezen uit zo’n 12 vega gerechten waarvan er een aantal vegan te maken zijn. Daarnaast is er een vegan Burito gerecht te krijgen.
