Delicious, clean plant based food. - Edit
We have tried several options at La Cuisine. Today we had the tofu scramble and green pancakes. Both were delicious but the green pancakes were extra special with fresh strawberries and bananas atop a yogurt sauce. Lunch and dinner entrees are equally excellent.

Amazing little place with great vegan options - Edit
We always make La Cuisine a priority stop when we are in Cozumel. Breakfast is incredible with a fairly decent selection of vegan options. Also has a small grocery selection with a few to-go options. Love the waffles, pancakes, red Chilaquiles, toasts. Not as big of a fan of the green chilaquiles. I also like that they make their own “cheese” out of almonds instead of using the processed store bought kind.

The waffles are my favorite. Lots of great vegan and vegetarian options. The supplements and grocery items they have are such a treat to find in Cozumel. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful

I would give it 5 stars but it’s not fully vegan or veg. Anyway if you’re here for an extended amount of time, come to their Natural store for supplies. Lovely products. Country living feel. We greatly enjoyed waffles and mushroom coffees. I also got a green juice. Yum. Happy but relaxing playlist. Worth visiting.

If the customer service and consistency was better, this place would be great! - Edit
This place has a ton of gluten free vegan options and was one of the only spots we could find that had healthy vegan breakfast offerings! The food was good but we went two days in a row and the smoothie bowl the next day was in a smaller bowl with less toppings and my husbands tofu scramble which was tasty, showed in photos online that some people got a side salad with it! When I inquired about ingredients about an item they got very rude and didn’t help me at all! I found this weird because they have so many different dietary options like keto and stuff too! It’s a shame cause the unfriendly was out a bad taste in our mouth! Really great healthy vegan options so if you have tough skin and don’t care about customer service then pop by!

I had the chilaquiles with salsa roja, and they were delicious. Above and beyond any chilaquiles I've ever had before. But nothing else on the menu seemed interesting or unique. Lots of vegan options, but they are boring bowls and things I can find anywhere else.

The service was so rude and slow! It took the 90 minutes to serve us one burrito and one tofu scramble. We were the only people in the restaurant at 11:00am. The food looked good, it was healthy, but tasted like nothing. I wanted to buy coffee and bread from their store from after. It took the horribly rude woman 10 minutes before she acknowledged my existence. Once she did she refused to grind the coffee for me and treated me with distain.

I didnt flag this as one to visit as I had 3 vegan places near my hotel, but stumbled across it by accident. Had a really tasty avo sandwich. I gave 3 stars as the menu is a little omni heavy- lots of egg, fish and even chicken.

There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from at this restaurant. I highly recommend the hemp salad. The restaurant setting is absolutely beautiful, and as a bonus, it also has a small, well supplied store, where they sell everything from nuts and seeds, kitchen staples, vegan cheese, beauty products and much more items that are rare to find in Mexico.

Read moreWe ordered the vegan quesadillas and the ‘avocado lovers’ sandwich - both were pretty flavourless and bland. The quesadillas were quite tough and hard to eat (we did get a takeaway so maybe this affected the texture?) and didn’t taste of much. The sandwich was slightly better but still quite boring and plain.
I read reviews the staff were friendly but I didn’t find this - maybe because I don’t speak Spanish? but not even a smile to put me at my ease.
They have quite a few biscuits and snacks that are vegan and some other ingredients- can definitely recommend the ‘galletas’ which were very good but the other things we tried were very fake tasting and not nice. Overall wouldn’t return.

We ate here several times, sampling a lot of the menu. The first breakfast, we had the vegano eggs and the veganas de maíz quesadillas. The vegano eggs came with a fruit cup! For dinner we had both the avocado lovers sandwich and the wrap; the sandwich was our favorite of the two. A different breakfast, we had the sweet bagel and the chilaquiles vegano; both were delicious and it was my first time having chilaquiles. There definitely are limited vegan dinner options, but the breakfast here is great.

Would recommend and go again.

The place is beautiful and the service is normal, but honestly the vegan food is super bland and it has no flavor at all. I am vegan so I don't know about the vegetarian options but as far as vegan food goes it wasn't good at all. I was really disappointed as I always want to support vegan places but I can't say this place is worth the try. Also for the pricing, you'd expect your food to taste at least good you know.

I wish I could have eaten here more often while on the island. I rushed in here one night after a late afternoon dive and had their heavenly vegan wrap. It was huge and at M$79 it is way cheaper than the falafel places closer to town. The man working the till was so nice as I was one peso short to buy some organic (and well priced) chia seeds and the wrap and he said don't worry about it. I so so appreciated it as I was starving. The menu is very diverse and the atmosphere is great. They have a cute little seating area which is well air conditioned. Their grocery store is very well priced and has a lot of good staples I haven't found elsewhere. The only negative thing I would say is that I didn't enjoy my soy cappuccino. Honestly though, this place is worth repeat visits and is much better priced than other places on happy cow that have a lower price indication in their description.

Visited Cozumel for the 70.3 Ironman - and got smoothies and lunch or breakfast at this place almost every day. Centrally located, great fresh smoothies, vegan milkshakes, and tofu scramble options! A must-visit for any vegan on the island.
