Spent 5 nights in their residency cooking school

I took the French food cooking course which included accommodations. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Lovely place, ideal location and incredible food

We stayed here for four nights in August and had a wonderful experience. Le Cheval Blanc is perfectly located to explore St Antonin and the surroundings. The room was very peaceful and had a lovely view across the town to the surrounding gorge.

The food was superb and varied, we highly recommend having dinner here even if you are not vegetarian - you are in for a treat! The breakfasts are a perfect start to the day, especially if you are gearing up for a walk or cycle.
.
The owners, Peter and Natalie, were very welcoming and provided us with invaluable advice about other vegetarian eating in the area (including arranging a vegetarian booking at a gourmet restaurant we'd never have tried) and general tips for our travel in St Antonin and our onward route.

Pros: Outstanding food, Very friendly, Location

Superb vegetarian food in a gorgeous part of France

This place was perfect for me (a cycling vegetarian who loves France, but struggles sometimes with its meat-dominated menus) - the quality of the food is excellent, from superb breakfasts through to evening meals (on request). Leave room for pudding...

Pros: Great food, Very friendly owners - committed to your happiness

Vegetarian hospitality!

If you ever have the good fortune to stay at the Cheval Blanc Hotel in Saint Antonin Noble Val France, you will be glad! The town is charming, the hotel is charming, the hosts are charming, and the food, prepared by Chef Natalie, is superb.
Husband and wife, they have both been vegetarian for years, and eat a mostly vegan diet, so they are sensitive to, and well qualified to deliver the goods when it comes to tasty food and a beautiful and comfortable accomidation.

Pros: Gorgeous village location, Charming interior, great bed, Excellent vegetarian food

Cons: Sorry, no cons that come to mind!

Veggie /vegan haven in beautiful medieval town

We stayed at Le Cheval Blanc in September and loved it. It's run by a lovely vegetarian family and they cooked us an amazing, delicious three course vegan meal on our first night. Breakfast was wonderful too complete with vegan scotch pancakes! Totally recommend it. St Antonin and surrounding area is stunning too and co-owner Peter can organise bike rides and veggie / vegan places to eat...

Pros: Delicious veggie and vegan food, Stunning town and area, Friendly, helpful family
