Classic vegetarian - Edit
This place was super cute. Apparently it has been around since the 1970’s which is super cool. There is a good selection of vegan options; I really liked le gratin dauphinois, total comfort food. The chestnut sorbet was a tasty dessert too. Kinda small space inside, some outdoor seating.

Special Place - Edit
We had the menu for 29€ per person and were very satisfied. It's a cool place with a very special and authentic vibe. Just maybe don't expect super big portions of food, it's rather about the quality (although the main course is totally fine).
Read moreStaff was very friendly, toilet is there as well (not a necessity in Paris). Glad we checked it out, can recommend if you wanna do smth special which you maybe can't do at others places. It's a bit pricey therefore 4 stars not 5 (also not 100% vegan).

We ordered the Plat Berbère and the veggie burger. Both were excellent. Host accommodated us even though kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. I’ll be back!

Delicious Vegan/Vegatarian French Peasant food - Edit
Organic vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options near Notre Dame. We had the potatoes Dauphine, the seitan steak, and the mushroom gratin of the day. Delicious food, outdoor seating on a quiet street, perfect for a relaxing lunch. It was great to find this gem that serves lots vegan food amongst the many non-vegan other cafes in that area. Vegan food isn't that easy to find, there are some great places but typically out of the main tourist areas.

Pranzo vegetariano a notre dame - Edit
Piatti completi e ben assortiti per un pranzo vegetariano. La terrina ai funghi era squisita. Gentilezza, spazio raccolto e zona centrale ne fanno un buon punto per tornarci.

Could be promising but awful service - Edit
Should be 1 star but giving an extra star in support of a vegan restaurant.
Read moreCould have loved this restaurant but service was less than par. Waited for a table while host/cashier chatted with patrons who were leaving for 10 minutes.
Then we were told there were not tables upstairs and we had to take a table downstairs by the cashier/ front entrance. We moved to an adjacent table because there was a draft but he told us we couldn’t sit there even after telling him we were cold. We left after that.
Pros: Menu looks good
Cons: Not friendly, Small and drafty, Uninviting

A delightful spot for a quick, comforting meal in a welcoming setting. - Edit
I recently revisited Le Grenier de Notre-Dame after many years and was pleasantly surprised by their updated menu, now featuring an array of delicious vegan dishes. I tried the gratin dauphinois, made with both potatoes and sweet potatoes, which was hearty and flavorful, followed by an irresistible crème brûlée. While it’s not Michelin-star food, it offers satisfying, traditional cuisine with some unique and interesting options. The venue itself is charming and cozy, and the service was warm and friendly. I wish I had been hungrier to try more dishes!

Lovely - Edit
Nice Restaurant with many vegan options, clearly labeled on the menue. Service is very nice and it’s cosy inside. I had a coconut soup with plantain, a plate with rice, vegetables and different vegan proteins and a crème brûlée as a dessert. Everything was very good! They have also a lot of freshly pressed juices which were delicious!

Tasty flavours - Edit
Great menu with lots of varied options including French classics like ratatouille which is what I went for. The plate did look a bit random with lots of varied sides but all the flavours worked really well.

Nice meal - Edit
We enjoyed a nice lunch, although the menu is less creative than on previous visits. Still a good choice for vegan and vegitarian western options

So good, we had a dauphinois and some creamy mushroom dish. Super flavourful and amazing that we could try a bit of traditional French food in Paris. Great location and quite nice to sit outside. Recommended!!

Quick lunch - Edit
I had some raspberry sorbet and the faux grois. It was nice, but not very flavourful. I think maybe I’m just used to lots of herbs and spices in cooking which they don’t use in France. A good few vegan options but I wish they had more vegan desserts

Cute place for French flavors - Edit
We always go to this place when in Paris. Really flavorful food and a great option to try some veganised French dishes. The cassoulet was our favourite but it seems the menu must have changed….

I recommend that you make a reservation specially if you want to enjoy their terrace. Their food is really good and not that expensive taking into account the area. Highly recommended!

This cosy restaurant is so cute and friendly and the staff were incredible. The menu is extensive with lots of different types of options, vegetarian and vegan. Flavoursome food, sweet staff + service - romantic! - Edit
We visited Le Grenier de Notre Dame on our first night in Paris. We booked an hour ahead but think it would have been fine to walk in too.
Read moreWe ordered the L’Escalope de Seitan and L’assiette berbère - they were both delicious and very flavoursome and it felt like a hearty, healthy and wholesome meal - just what we needed after a day of travelling.
We also treated ourselves to the chocolate cake and brownie for dessert.
Several dishes either vegan already or could be made vegan.
The service was excellent, very sweet and attentive staff and it was very calm, relaxed atmosphere. We visited in January but reckon it would be lovely to sit outside in the summer months!
