A wonderful experience - Edit
We had miso soup as starters and the sushi boat. Both were amazing and chef was very kind. The boat was MASSIVE and included tempura as well!! Make sure to come here super hungry, as the boat had so much sushi for the price point (only 44e).

Ein wirklich kleiner Laden von Locals mit ganz viel Herz. Jede Zutat wird aufwändig vorbereitet, total schön präsentiert und wirkt dabei überhaupt nicht gezwungen fancy. Das Personal war einfach Zucker, sprechen aber wirklich nur portugiesisch. Für mich eher eine Aufwertung.

Go with the boat - Edit
For a variety of tastes, the boat is the way to go. Although the actual sushi is on the small side, it was more than enough for 2 and we took some home for breakfast the next day. The wine is really good and a bargain. Worth a visit!

We were here first time for New Year’s Eve and it was wonderful. The special menu was crazy good and the sushi boat was huge for a very good price!
Read moreThe flavours are incredible. I reccomend the miso soup and all sushi rolls with cream and fake tuna and salmon. The tempura was also amazing. I would definitely go back and take all my non vegan friends.

Vegan Sushi in Lisbon - Edit
Excellent taste and presentation of vegan sushi, carefully prepared and served. We had the best vegan meal during our one month in Spain and Portugal. The Sushi Boat was simply delicious and prepared with care, creativity, and flare! This meal was the highlight of 5 days in Lisbon. The restaurant is small and in a local neighborhood, but easily accessible. This was an exceptional dining experience, and we highly recommend Legumi Sushi.

This place was tiny but they fit us in. The loveliest people were serving us. The food was incredible from the veggie gyozas to crispy sushi. We even had the strawberry and Nutella sushi for desert. WORTH trying if you like sushi for sure.

Fun boat but not fully vegan - Edit
The sushi boat was very fun and something vegans usually don't get to experience. The sushi was also pretty good. However, they serve the sushi boat with half of a giant clam shell on it, and put the food on top. Such large in-tact shells are rarely found just washed up on a beach after the animal has died and are usually acquired by clam fishers killing an animal that has grown large over several years or decades, or grown in fisheries. However it was obtained, serving vegan food on an animal body part isn't in the spirit of vegan / anti-animal exploitation. I think if they need something to put under the tempura they should use a boat with a raised navigation area, or pile on more rice sheets or greens.

Read moreFriendly staff but the only con is that we were a table with 7 people and 2 soups were served way before the other starters, meaning we waited until our friends also got their food so we could eat together. The kitchen staff could improve coordination in this regard.

Legumi sushi è un piccolo ristorante con una cucina curata, gustosa e studiata. Abbiamo provato tanti piatti perché non riuscivamo a smettere di mangiare, ogni piatto ha un sapore equilibrato, particolare e spesso sorprendente. Ci hanno servito e consigliato in maniera eccellente e ci hanno fatto sentire come se fossimo clienti abituali. Piatti da sogno...davvero il miglior sushi vegano mai assaggiato!
