There are other better places for vegans - Edit
I was not impressed when I visited 2 years ago, so I decided to give it a shot one more time, and I'm still extremely disappointed. First, the food is just ok and there are so many other places that serve better vegan food for the price. Second, the staff are STILL CONFUSED with the term vegetarian and vegan just like 2 years ago! The first server who took our order said everything from the restaurant is vegan to which I said that's not true because they serve eggs, cheese, and cow's milk. I then asked her if she knows the difference between vegan and vegetarian to which she immediately said no. The second server came to take an extra order and he also said everything from the restaurant is vegan because there's no meat involved. Not knowing the difference is one thing(it often happens in Kenya but usually not at a veg restaurant), but telling the customers the menu is fully vegan is another. The staff are very friendly but are extremely under trained and misinformed. I wouldn't be surprised if there's hidden milk, butter, or eggs even when certain food from the menu sounds like vegan because the staff here are just confused. You definitely have to ask every single ingredient before you order to make sure it's vegan. Maybe one can come here for a drink if really curious about the view, but I can't particularly recommend this place to dine in.

I've eaten here a few times mostly Indian/Asian and all times have been good. I loved the eggpland tofu bowl, it was super yammy! The menu could be more clear with vegan dishes but I believe many choices can be made vegan if they're not already. The views are great! Quiet place.

The food was very good, some dishes are probably already vegan but you can just tell them to make it vegan and then it should be fine. Good service! Especially the view over Nairobi is great. There is also a gym with a pool next by so if someone swims there you can hear it, but it didn't bother us 😊

Amazing place to have your breakfast with a non-vegan friend. I took avo toasts, fruit bowl, but there are many more options for vegans and not only breakfast. Everything was serves fast and delicious. Well, the view is incredible without discussion

We ordered panipuri that come on top of shot glasses (quite tasty), vegetable balls in a Manchurian sauce, and a tofu eggplant in a teriyaki sauce. Both the main dishes were quite muted in flavor so we really made use of the accompanying hot condiments.
Read moreAs we have encountered in other restaurants in Nairobi, there seems to be a little confusion between the terms vegan and vegetarian. The menu reflected that too as the green V symbol was absent from some items that actually were vegan. We also found the menu online was not the same as in the restaurant (which was smaller). Sushi wasn't available on the day we visited either (Saturday). Be specific about what you don't eat when ordering (especially ghee/butter, cheese, mayonnaise, egg), sit back and enjoy the view.

What can't they do! - Edit
As a vegan living in Nairobi I'm always on the hunt for vegan restaurants. While this place is vegetarian and vegan it still ticked my boxes. Don't let the wide variety put you off. It was a delicious decision. Try the sizzling Manchurian! It was simply sumptuous. #Veganuary
