One of the best bakeries in Vancouver - Edit
Fantastic selection of baked goods, all vegan and many gluten-free. Quality of all the baked goods is very high. Definitely never disappoints.

such a cute place! the vibes are nice here and the staff is super friendly. i really enjoyed the matcha lemonade and strawberry soft serve. the s’mores cookie was decent, a bit on the cake-y side. the “meltly” was also pretty decent, it just felt like it was missing something to pull it all together. i would definitely recommend this place!!

How delightful to have a vegan matcha ice cream in a sunny day! This has to be one of my go-to places for vegan pastry in Vancouver! Very Japanese kawaii! Matcha soft serve, matcha croissant with cream filling and a 2.5 inch mini cake are all epic! 😋

Vegan Baked Goods! - Edit
Attached to Whisk Matcha (the best matcha latte I have ever had!), Level V Bakery offers an impressive amount of vegan baked goods. We ordered the pineapple bun and a cream puff. Both were good! If I lived closer, I would be the first in line to try more of their items. As the staff is the same (and as mentioned in my Whisk Matcha review), while the staff was by no means rude, they were not very friendly, so I was unsure of the exact dynamic of the three (plus a vegan soft serve place) shops all in the same building. However, the selection and appearance of the baked goods alone were enticing.

Sweet little cafe - Edit
It’s a really cute cafe, some booths with decorated with funky pillows. There’s a section with some collectibles for sale like hats, tea kits and zero waste goods.
Read moreWe split the ham and cheese croissantwitch and a grilled chickpea wrap. The croissantwitch was good, really tasted and smelt like ham. The wrap was alright, the chickpea smash was a little mushy (usually make mine more chunky at home) and could have been mixed some more as I got the garlic at the end of the wrap. But it was grilled and who doesn’t like a warm wrap 😇

All vegan. All delicious. The Hojicha and Genmaicha oat lattes are insane. I go with zero sweetener. Such great tea. I only wish there were a few GF options. Lovely cafe and so delicious.

Everything is vegan here ! The service is always excellent. They have a ton of vegan pastries and cakes to choose from. And they also have a ton of amazing matcha hot and cold drinks. I can’t say enough great things about this place. It’s amazing !!

Read moreI visited the cafe 6 mins before closing, their bakery goods were all sold out. I had a pint of matcha ice cream and peanut butter noodle salad.
Matcha ice cream is a 5 star, the matcha flavour is strong and definitely made from real matcha. The color is also vibrant compared with other matcha ice cream. But I wish I could have had it with the charcoal cone(sold out).
Peanut butter noodle salad was very good for a pre-made food. No complaints.
I look forward to visiting again and update the rating.

Hi IronJuice! Hmmm... I don't think there is a 5th floor in the Mount Pleasant Community centre! But yes we are located at 39 Kingsway, and we have two doors you can enter through (though one we recommend as an entrance, and the other as an exit) :). Our pastries are quite popular so there's not many things left at the end of the day, but glad that you atleast go to try the Softie icecream! Next time you can reserve pastries on our Square Site (its our same day order and same day pick up website)! whiskmatchaxlevelv.square.site So that way you can pre-order and select all the good things before you come in.😄Hope that helps!
