Pricey

The food quality could be better for the price. It’s not as tasty as some other vegetarian restaurants. Don’t let the presentation fool you.

overpriced, subpar food

this is a fancy chinese restaurant, so the dishes are naturally expensive. i’d be okay if they tasted good, but they didn’t :/
most of what i tried either had a very one-dimensional flavour profile or was bland. the only things i would eat again are the satay and fried mapo tofu, but i wouldn’t revisit even for those.
perhaps i ordered the wrong things, but this was a disappointing experience.

Cons: expensive, disappointing quality of food

Delicious food. Friendly staff

[Sg, Alliums Free Vegetarian/ Vegan] Earlier, we went to LingZhi to celebrate Mother’s birthday in evening. The foodie were delicious, restaurant were spacious (full house) and ingredients used are of good quality. We told the restaurant about the birthday celebration in advance and they have prepared longevity peaches for us (not on menu, have to check with staff if available). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend 🤩👍🏻. We had the below
💚 Homemade Beancurd topped with Fresh Mushroom $22
💚 Hot and Sour Soup $8
💚 Double-boiled Nutritious LingZhi Soup $10
💚 Sauteed Asparagus Macadamia Nut and Fresh Lily Buld in Crispy Basket $24
💚 Pine Nut Sweet Sauce Vegetarian Fish $20
💚 Brown Rice $2 / bowl

Pros: Good services, Many vegan options , Spacious

Good food in classic environment

There was no buffet option when I visited (lunch time), just a la carte menu. I had fake fish in passion fruit spicy sauce: the food was a bit on the pricy side (and I didn't likely being charged for pickles I didn't order or eat...), but really delicious. The environment is nice albeit a bit on the formal side...

Dimsum Buffet, Unclear Vegan Options

One of the few veg buffet places in Singapore. Been here several times for the a la carte dimsum buffet lunch. Taste is pretty good! Unfortunately the vegan options are not clearly labelled in the menu, and every single time I visit, every single staff I ask gives me inconsistent and conflicting information about which items contain egg, dairy, and honey... Hope this can be better clarified!

Bad Experience

I had a bad experience of your front desk service at Liat Tower's Buffet Lunch yesterday (22 May, Sunday 11am). I booked a " 2 + 1" seats for lunch buffet and
was "greeting" by a rude front desk staff ( i think she was a cashier too). She attended to me before we enter the restaurant and tried to look for my name in the
reservation list, after that, she ask me is it " 2+1 " and i answered her is 2 adults and my kid is younger than 3 years old, so i follow up to ask her whether will my
kid be charged on the buffet as she is only a toddler, then she suddenly answered me in a rude, sarcastic, high tone and loud voice : " I am asking you how many
people in total not anything else, is because i want to arrange the seats ! ", i did not said anything but just answered her ok. She still keep on repeating the same
sentence in high tone for at least 3-4 times until we were seated, i'm sure the rest on the diners can hear her very well as she answered in loud voice like want to showcase to everyone. At last, i was still not getting the answer from her if my kid will be charged for the buffet. Her irritating and arrogant attitude affected our dine-in experience at LingZhi.
Secondly, it's my feedback and suggestion over the food. We always have certain expectation over the food for Tung Lok, unfortunately, there are few types of Dim Sum were served cold yesterday including Crispy Yam Croquette, Pan-fried Carrot Cake & Crispy Glutinous Rice Skin Dumpling. I saw these items were display on trays in room temperature without putting them in fried food warmer, and believe these fried Dim Sum already done earlier and it was really cold already under air-con room condition. Even if we went to a cheaper eating place their fried Dim Sum were served fresh hot. We are kind of disappointed of this as this issue can simply be solved by just install a food warmer there, this is sad.
Further, we ordered the Sweet and Sour Vegetarian Meat and the vegan meat was so hard it's totally not a renowned restaurant quality. The Eight Treasure Rice Congee served with Fritter was so bland and taste funny and my hubby forced to eat so as don't want to waste the food : (
We would not want to go back to LingZhi restaurant anymore unless the foodie comments improved.

Cons: Arrogant front desk staff cum cashier, fried dim sum served cold, food are so so

Wonderful dinner buffet

Just had an amazing 15 course dinner! Each dish is pretty unique and many very different from the usual veg fare in SG. It had been a year or two since our last visit but now will become regulars as they’ve improved a lot! The dinner buffet is not that cheap but with so many options it’s totally worth the price.

For the fellow vegans, they do have dairy in some dishes so ask, and ask separately about milk, mayo, butter etc as not everyone speaks perfect English.

Pros: Lots of awesome flavours, Fresh ingredients , Lots of tofu and tofu skin, not so much mock meat

Amazing Lunch Buffet

I went here with a non-vegan friend for lunch and we had the most incredible lunch offering. We choose the "A La Carte Lunch Buffet" option for $22.80 per person. Between us we tried 23 different dishes ranging from smaller appetizers to larger mains and finally sweet desserts. Check out their website for the A La Carte Menu. It is a beautiful setting on the 5th floor of the Liat Tower building. They will charge extra for the Chinese Tea and any orders that you do not eat (we ordered two lots of the same dumplings by mistake and had to pay for it).

This is a must visit place if you're in Singapore, you need a minimum of two people to try the buffet lunch menu and it is available everyday from 11am-3pm (Last order is 45 mins before).

A very special and delicious experience.

Pros: Amazing Lunch Buffet, Efficient and fast service, Nice setting

Overpriced and bland

Although the dishes on the menu looked aesthetically very good they did not live up to the pictures. Bland flavours and seemed sweetened.

Paying $18 for brown rice with some veg is over the top.

Pros: Fresh dishes, Clean and ambient

Cons: Very expensive, Bland

Best restaurant in Singapore!!

We are here twice during our stay in Singapore. We had dinner (normal menu) and lunch (buffet menu with dim sum). All the food was fresh, high quality and tasted amazing! Literally everything was so tasty! Their sieuw mai is the best. Service is excellent as well.

Pros: Fresh and consistent high quality food, Everything is very tasty, Great service

Terrific food, great variety

Although in the pricier range, the food here is excellent: delicious and varied. Today was my fifth experience in several visits to Singapore and I found new dishes that had such delicate balances of flavor. A really enjoyable experience and, unlike one of the reviews below, I have consistently found the service quite attentive and efficient. It's a treat.

Pros: Delicious flavors, Excellent food quality, Great variety

Cons: A bit on the pricey side

Pricey Chinese Vegetarian

Ling Zhi is a sit down restaurant on the 5th floor of an office building. It has a large menu, but vegan options are not marked. The staff seems knowledgeable about what is/can be made vegan. We tried the black pepper monkey head mushrooms, the peking duck pancakes, hor fun, and green beans. The food was tasty and portion sizes were good. Service was good. It is definitely on the expensive side.

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Expensive

Boring food and poor service

We had 3 starters and 2 mains.
Food was okay, but almost every meal was missing for a flavour boost.
The fried eggplants with bell pepper and sushi-like rolls were good but the rest was just boring and the the
mushroom noodle soup with vegetables absolutely had no flavour.

Finding vegan options was pretty easy, as concluding from the menu only a single main course includes cheese.

We arrived shortly after 21 o'clock and they pushed us to make a choice what to eat, made recommodations what to order and then gave us 5 min to order. The meals arrived very fast, no time to eat the starters first. Everytime they brought a plate, the waiters checkmarked the bill listing our items ordered. And then they asked to pay while eating what I did.

Service was anything but warmly. The waiters behaved in a very snob-like way and we did not feel welcome. We we're leaving the place minutes before they offically close and were thankful that we don't have to come back.

For that kind of boring food, it was way to pricey. We paid 89 S$ for two tea, 3 starters and 2 mains.

Pros: Modern chinese food, Many vegan items

Cons: Arrogant, pressing service, Tasteless food, Too expensive

imaginative food

The one thing they do here, is try to put a new slant on asain food.
The food was very tasty and varied, the dishes are far from the normal mock/tofu you expect and this a great benefit.
It's good value and the only thing that stopped a five star rating, was the service was a bit too much. It's good service, but as soon as you finish they are moving things about, you can't have a sip of tea without a member of staff filling your cup again, even before it reached the table. It's a personal view, I'm sure lost of people would like this service, just not my bag.
This is one place you should try in Sinagpore.
Popped back on but bloody heaving. Haas too long a waiting will try again soon.

Pros: good food, new ideas

Cons: service...too much!!!

good food but they use a lot of MSG

Food is nice .. you can try satay, basket with veggies is v good, fried bun, tofu with veggies .. overall good ambience and good tastes good but ALL items have MSG in the food including all desserts so if you are allergic to MSG I wouldn't recommend this place because they cannot do without MSG

Classy restaurant with delicious, creative food

A white tablecloth restaurant on the 5th floor, with a peaceful, pleasant atmosphere. They serve delicious, creative, organic dishes without mock meat. The workers are very attentive. I had a superb claypot with special mushrooms, tofu skin and beans; I also had their glutinous rice (cooked in a leaf with vegetables and beans), which was scrumptious. For dessert I had the black sesame sauce, which was wonderfully rich, and a coconut juice. Altogether that came to $42.75.

Pros: Superb food, No mock meat

Cons: Pricey
