High expectations - Edit
After being told by a friend that the restaurant had been crowned as the best Indian restaurant in BCN in a TV competition, my expectations were, of course, high. I can't say they were met completely, but I enjoyed the meal. Maybe I didn't choose the right dishes, I'll come back to check out the rest of their vegan options. The staff was very helpful and attentive, I loved that. And the cinnamon iced tea was such a great discovery! Not a fan of their "Indian nachos" though, but the rest of the dishes were tasty.

Hey, not that it matters, but from your pictures it does look like you were not lucky with your dish selecting. The coconut soup with veggies is maybe the weaker dish, and the chettinad curry is not brilliant either.
Read moreWhenever I go we tend to heavy on the starters such as idli, or rice crepe with veggies and, only order one "main".
Anyhow, doubt that it matters but hope you enjoy it more in the future if you end up there again.

My favorite vegan Indian food - Edit
I really loved this place. The ambience is super welcoming, the decoration is gorgeous and the staff is very nice. There are several vegan items on the menu. We tried a few of them, following the recommendations of the staff and loved everything. It felt so much special and "uncommon" (for Spain at least) than any other indian restaurant that I have tried. It is definitely on the pricier side but for sure so worth it.

The best Indian food I've had in Barcelona and overall one of the better meals. Very flavorful and original Indian tapas with excellent attention and ambience.
Read moreAbout half of the tapas were vegan, and the flavors were extremely bold. This is definitely a higher end restaurant and if you like Indian food you're in for a real treat. I would give 5 stars if I could.

Without expecting a festival of flavours (at least in the vegan options) the food is very good, you have several vegan options to choose (well indicated in the menu) and the price is more than affordable (25 per pax approx). Very nice restaurant and very friendly staff. Friday's dinner time is for young people 😜
