Sweet little shop with very helpful staff. - Edit
Lots of yummy looking wholesome food and products. Most everything is natural and whole food plant based. They also serve food with one table and a bar for seating. We got some chocolate covered coconut, inca berries, and cinnamon caramelized almonds that were all great. I’d like to go back and order some food.

much love - Edit
u can definitely spend a long time in there, browsing through the different unpacked spices, ingredients, household stuff and goodies they offer. i didnt try any fresh food but i bet it tastes amazing. i got some spices and the chocolate covered coconut balls, extremely delicious. u can put the things in paper bags or grab empty jars for free, or of course, bring your own. the man working there was super friendly and helpful!

Amazing concept! - Edit
I love how sustainable the idea behind the whole store is. Prices are more than reasonable and everything feels very home-y. Not to mention that I've had the best "cheez"cake ever. I would absolutely do my groceries here if I lived in the area.

Super nice staff (probably owner). Nothing fancy, very friendly, feels like home.
Read moreWe tried delicious (cold) mulled juice with spice, tiramisu and hot chocolate. There is a small indoor seating and punky outdoor seating. The space is mostly zero waste shop but you can also have a lunch and dessert in a very friendly environment.

Perfect! - Edit
Perfect tiramisu, perfect menu, perfect juice and chocolate, perfect music (for people in their 30s and 40s), large selection of organic and zero waste stuff in the shop (incl. detergents etc.), in-house made plant-based milk and a peanut butter machine which smashes rosted peanuts for you on the fly!

Go. Here. Now. Best restaurant and veg shop in Amsterdam - Edit
I was truly impressed by Little Plant Pantry. While sitting at the counter and eating my meal, I watched the owner deliver excellent service to each and every customer (including me) whether they were stopping in to purchase some bulk vegan products or relaxing with friends over juice and noms. The hot food he serves is indescribably delicious and healthy. It’s great to watch the owner prepare food himself. I was lucky enough to watch him open and sample the first bottle of a fresh batch of kombucha, which I of course had to try and it was insanely good. Do your body, mind, and soul a favor and come check this place out!

Lovely store and vegan meal offerings - Edit
The owner of Little Plant Pantry cooked our food right in front of us as he spoke to us about the establishments history and relationship with neighborhood cats (one of which has claimed the place as his hang out spot… we met him, so old and cute 🐱)
Read moreAs a zero-waste store, it has so much to offer. The food was exceptional too. I enjoyed the fully vegan lasagna and it was brilliant. With a crispy top and warm, smooth innards, it truly was unique. My partner ordered a stew pictured below, which was also very yummy.
All around, good vibes, nice people and delicious food. All you could ask for 😊

The most amazing place ever - Edit
We had such a lovely experience here. The staff were so friendly and they made us feel so welcome. The cafe is so cosy and homely. We were even treated to a visit from an adorable cat. The food is just amazing and you can watch the chef making it fresh. Honestly, you simply can’t visit Amsterdam without going here.

Fantastic find for lunch - Edit
Located in a lovely quieter area, but an easy walk from the centre. The lunch we had here far surpassed our expectations, and was made freshly with love and care. A seitan sandwich, vegan brie and almond pie and lovely salad. To cap it a warm mulled pear and apple juice.

Delicious snack - Edit
The front of this place is a zero-waste store, but on the end you have a bar and a table were you can enjoy the goodies they offer. I ordered a chocolat-drink and a tiramisu. Chocolat drink is just good (I like that you get extra coconut-sugar to make this drink as sweet as you want), but the tiramisu is outstanding: coffee-chocolate taste is perfectly in balans and the tiramisu-base itself is firm, but has still a creamy texture.

Outstanding food - Edit
It is mainly a store selling zero-waste bulk grains and beans etc. but they have a small food counter with superb vegan food, large portions and very filling (we took half our portions home for the next day). The selection is small but everything we got was first-class. We started with large bowls of steaming lentil soup with a well-seasoned tomato base, served with homemade seed crackers. Then I got a creamy, rich vegan lasagna topped with chopped fresh tomato, toasted pumpkin seeds and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. My partner got a fragrant mung bean curry, with a coconut milk base, served over quinoa. We also purchased an elegant round of homemade cashew cheese with herbs de Provence, a wonderful spice cooky with match tea, and some locally made buckwheat miso. They also offered delicious looking pickles and other ready made vegan products that we did not try.

The beauty of the organised shelves as you enter is incredibly satisfying. The online ordering is great too. Makes you realise how much plastic is in the most products.

Bring your own box - Edit
I would guess that the one $ is for the refill of different products, as I felt that the prepped food they sold was a bit expensive. The shop was nice and spacious, got most of the stuff you would need for everyday use. I bought a tiramisu, it was excellent but a bit pricey. I would also recommend bringing your own box since they charge for it (as they should).

Great whole foods store and lunch place - Edit
Living in Amsterdam, I always heard about this place but never visited before. But I’m so glad I did. I went for lunch and I had an absolutely delicious puff pastry and salad. Theo homemade Kombucha was also fantastic. I went on a sunny day and it was so nice sitting in their small garden. They also have a few seats indoors as well. Staff was very friendly and prices were decent.

From a non-vegan; Little Plant is good. Insert your own vocabularic superlative good. - Edit
I'm not vegan. That's my own deal. I am, however, open-minded and let my taste buds form my opinion when I eat foods that are strictly vegan rather than judging by the "vegan" designation. Little Plant is good, really, really good. It's sit down restaurant you just ate it and loved it before realizing it was vegan good. It's the quality of food that can truly change minds about eating healthier plant based meals. I could go on with very specific details about just how good it is and why. It comes down to people who prepare food with the future health of the consumer in mind and knowing that it has to be high quality, and it is both healthy and high quality, from the "Burger" to the Stir Fry, to the best damn carrot cake that I've probably ever eaten. Were I on the coast, I'd be there quite frequently.
Read morePros: Complex flavors distinguishable by the palate, High quality, Healthy, revitalizing eating experience
Cons: I should have got the last piece of carrot cake, I should got an extra order of Stir Fry, I'll have to drive to the coast more frequently
