Cheeeeesy naan - Edit
Great little spot, very homey and tasty. Had the naan burger with a side of cheesy naan. 10/10 would recommend. Rented bikes specifically to come here.

Cosy. Friendly. Delicious - Edit
Cosy. Friendly. Delicious. Those are the first words that come to my mind when thinking about Little World Kitchen. The atmosphère makes you feel at home while at the same time giving you the feeling of escaping in another country. The place literally feels like you are in a living room, but in a very positive way.
Read moreAs for the menu, it's also an invitation to travel in a (vegan) world. From ayurvedic teas to lassis, from naan to exotic fruits bowls.
We opted for the breakfast deal: a drink and a dish for 9.95€. Coffee, Bikini and chia puddings.
You can also get catering in very colorful metal lunchboxes. A gem in Utrecht

Sweet people, good food - Edit
Nice place in Utrecht in a house that looks like you’re in someone’s dining or living room. Nice people and good tasty food.
Read moreFour stars because: The home made ice tea had not enough flavour to my tasting and the garden we ate in was cosy but far from maintained. There is no possibility to wash your hands after having visited the bathroom. Not the whole menu could be ordered. When in Utrecht, I will most surely come back though!
Pros: People/staff, Speed of service, All vegan

My FAVORITE lunchroom - Edit
I really don’t know what to say other than it’s my favorite lunchroom of all time. Every dish is delicious, beautifully plated and the staff is incredibly attentive. They run out of ingrediënts sometimes, but that just goes to show that they care about the environment. Wait is usually a little longer than you might be used to. I don’t mind it because of the cozy atmosphere and they really make everything to order. My favorite dish is the poha, I order it with rice instead of rice flakes, but the cheese naan is also a must! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Unique Location and Tastes - Edit
Quite unique experience, more or less in a private home. The dishes we had had always an interesting twist to them. Quiet highlights were the freshly baked bread and the bulgur on the side of the shakshuka, which was tasty. The roti was delicious as well with some spicy salad. The mango lassi-excellent. Only the home made iced tea with lavender was not exactly our thing.

It’s like eating at someone’s home - Edit
The entrance of this place is by the kitchen, so I was confused whether I was walking the right way. After the kitchen, you walk past the corridor where a sink and the toilet are located. You need to enter the ‘living room’ to get to the seating area.
Read moreIt’s quite hot there and smells strongly of the foods/spices being served. The interior looks messy, which gives it a homey feel.
The staff members seem to be friends, since they chat a lot. However, they do check regularly whether you need service.
The food is slightly cheaper than I’m used to from nearby places (like Broei) and the portion of pancakes was generous. I also liked the Blue lotus tea that they served, although I didn’t expect a loose-leaf tea. I think their previous menu mentioned some other ingredients as well.

Delicious spiced food - Edit
At little world kitchen I tried the Tiffin for lunch. In one box there was a curry with chickpeas, yellow lentils and rice. The other box contained a salad. Both were yummy!
Read moreI really liked the massala chai. A drink full of flavour and nice spicy taste of ginger.
Although the food and drink were delicious, the cafe is a bit too small and noisy for me. I went on a Friday and it was really busy. I recommend to make a reservation.
Pros: Friendly staff, Food is delicious
Cons: Small space to sit , Noisy

Lovely little lunchcafe - Edit
The place has a very home style feel to it. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We came in on a Friday around lunchtime and it was pretty much full, luckily we did have a reservation so I would recommend making a reservation if you plan on having lunch here.
Read moreI ordered the roti dish which came with a salad on the side and some (perfectly cooked) rice. The roti itself was very good and seasoned well, maybe a little on the salty side but overall very good. Loved the soft potatoes inside and the hint of spice. Salad was fresh and the dressing was fine. i had a chai masala for drink. They make their own chai blenda and it was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are good and prices are reasonable.
Only real downside for me is that there are quite a lot of tables in a rather small space, where I prefer it to be and feel a little more spacious. That is just a personal preferences though, as I can imagine that others find it charming. Anyway, they are worth a visit for sure.
Pros: Really tasty food, Great chai masala, Friendly staff
Cons: Tight space

Fill my little world - Edit

Delicious and zero waste lunch - Edit
Little world kitchen offers an amazing lunch service with a choice of 2 or 3 (including dessert) dishes per person. We ordered it for a work lunch and it was not only delicious, but amazing to have it delivered in reusable containers. Everyone loved it, we had a curry dish with super tasteful jackfruit and a dish with salad and grilled eggplant that tasted amazing. The dessert was a slice of lemon cake.
Read moreThere is also an option to eat at their pop up location at the concierge. It is a very cosy location. Service is very friendly. So definitely recommend visiting!
