Mixed feelings - Edit
Vegan options in their menu are quite limited, they are marked but not all of them, for example they also have vegan ramen and mochis. First we ordered onigiris with shitake, that were very tasty, and gyozas, we could choose fried or steamed but it turned out that the fried option was not fully vegan (fried in that same oil that meat) so we chose steamed ones and they were ok. For main courses I ordered curry and I liked it very much and my partner ordered ramen, for me the seaweed taste was too dominant, for him it was ok, although a bit too salty. Both dishes lacked protein, it would be so easy to add some tofu. For dessert we had 2 vegan mochis: sesame and matcha coffee, they have soy and oat milk. I loved the service until the moment we got the bill without asking for, when two new people turned up who wanted to have dinner but there were no tables available. I think it was an opportunity for the restaurant to make more money, and although I was planning to order a cocktail we received the bill and we felt like being invited to leave the restaurant in an indirect way. It really spoiled the overall good impression. It may seem like a detail, but I don't feel like going back there.

Lovely, authentic Japanese food with plenty of vegan options - Edit
This is a great find in the Lavapies neighborhood. Close proximity to major sites (El Prado, Museo Reina Sofia, El Retiro Park, Botanical Garden) is a major plus.
Read moreWe got Japanese craft beer, veggie gyoza (highly recommend), and the curry dish. Traditional Japanese curry with rice.
This is a great place to eat at while visiting major sites in Madrid.
