Little cafe in Kville on Hisingen. Offers coffee and fresh bread in the morning and soup for lunch. The coffee shop (fiket) is run by Robin Olsson as an extension of his ideas about how to create a better society, mainly by increasing the number of bicyclists in the city, but also by making vegetarian and organic food the norm. Accepts cash. Please note that many businesses in Sweden are cashless. Open Tue-Fri 11:00-18:00, Sat 11:00-16:00.

Bike culture café

Great coffee, good vegan food options, and you get a discount if you arrive by bike.

Best lunch I know!

Llama Lloyd makes a vegan lunch Tuesdays through Fridays and is my favorite place for lunch. The lentil and the pea soup (with a vegan pancake) are really filling, the carrot soup has so much ginger I don't get a cold and the corn soup on Fridays is so spicy and nice! The hummus sandwich is also super good! They normally have two vegan ice creams from Råda Gelato too. YUM!

Cosy and creative, community vibe

I visited the café in the summer of 2015. This is a place where you can grab a quick lunch or hang out for hours. There are several vegan options on the menu. I had a delicious hummus sandwich with tomatoes and a mud cake with raspberry sorbet. Stopped by once more for a homemade popsicle.

Great concept; encouraging greener choices and collaborative practices. Café organises events regularly such as Slow Roll by bike, movie nights and usually has a small exhibition of prints of local artists.

The atmosphere is laid-back and creative. "Analog time" is encouraged and while you charge your phone there are plenty of interesting books to browse and Robin is always up for a 'chin-wag'.

If I lived in Gothenburg I'd be there all the time!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, friendly and laid-back atmos', organic

Cons: Limited seating but usually not a problem
