Cafe offering a few vegan items such as bagels with non-dairy cream cheese, cinnamon rolls, scones and drinks with non-dairy milks. Open Tue-Fri 6:30am-2:00pm, Sat-Sun 7:00am-3:00pm.
Closed Mon.
You may not notice at first but Loaves and Witches is almost completely vegan including the treats in their display case, even when they have cheezecake. Their rosemary bagel is absolutely to die for. If not for dairy milk and honey options for drinks they'd be all vegan. As a local Loaves and Witches also feels like part of the community, they've very involved with Edgewater and do a lot of events here.
They make a fantastic cup of coffee and have really good vibes. The staff are ALWAYS pleasant, helpful, and understanding even when extremely busy. Their baked goods are amazing (cinnamon roll!). The have Hexe beans for sale, and will do pop events for small businesses some times.
I love loaves and witches! the vibes are so cozy and gay. very welcoming. i like how they're conscious about people taking photos / videos of others in the cafe for privacy reasons. the staff is so friendly. and the food and coffee are amazing. i went during the halloween season and their themed desserts were so charming. i got a sesame seed bagel, a ghost cookie, and a latte with hazelnut and mocha syrup, so so good. everything tasted wonderful.
Loved the drinks, baked goods, and the vibes! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, staff and customers alike! Clearly labeled items (by allergens) in the case with a variety of nondairy milks to choose from for drinks.
Ever since they opened I have been a regular customer, and 95% of the bakery is consistently vegan! I’ve tried a variety of the items and they are all incredible. They don’t have full meals or anything, but if you’re looking for coffee and a sweet treat, I highly recommend!

Delicious light breakfast - Edit
We ordered bagels and cream cheese as well as a scone, all vegan. I would guess about 80% of the food available is vegan.
