2012 - Made Me Want to Move to Cincinnati; 2024 Not Now.

The Cuisine, the Food, the Tea, the Smoothies, the People, the DESSERTS....m-m-m-m-m - ALL fantastic.

UPDATE 9/2024 - This place change hands, changed the menu somewhat, and changed the food - NOT for the better, unfortunately. I tried several of the food items and several of the bake goods. I won't go back and can't recommend it. I'm still glad that they're Vegan, but it's not enough.

An extra star for being one of the only vegan joints in Cincinnati

This is a very small location for LH. There’s a booth and a couple of tables. It’s mostly takeout. The menu is mostly made up of Beyond and Impossible products, which are generally not my thing. They do have pho and other Asian dishes, as well as paninis and their own mock meat sandwiches.

I got a “sliced turkey” Reuben and grilled drumsticks. They were both good.

Nice options

The buffalo wrap was delicious! The dumplings were just okay and I didn’t like the Mac n’ cheese at all. The oatmeal walnut raisin cookie was my favorite. The cranberry pecan cookie lacked flavor.

Underwhelming. Food is pretty bland.

We ordered the drumsticks, Mac n cheese, pho, vegetable panini, and spring rolls.
The spring rolls, and pho were the best things we ordered. Had a good amount of flavor. However, the rest of the items were very tasteless. Even after adding salt the Mac n cheese just wasn’t hitting for me or my husband but my children enjoyed it. The drumsticks depended heavily on the included bbq sauce. The panini was sad. The vegetables were overcooked, mushy, and spread in a thin layer of two bread slices smashed by a panini press. *sigh* I kinda just want my money back.

Delicious

Delicious food and generous portions. I ordered the beyond sausage with chili - vegan version of cheese coney - and it was amazing! Also had the dumplings and they were terrific. Gluten free cookies were also good - not too dry.

Pros: Taste was out of this world , Prices were reasonable, Parking in rear

Cons: Waited a good time for food , Not a lot of seating

Good, not WOW.

My first time at a Loving Hut anywhere. Loved that it’s fully vegan and such a long-running restaurant. The menu is quite extensive (spanning several cuisine styles!) and the food is good and tasty though it didn’t knock our socks off.

Just don’t be in a hurry here! We experienced v.slow service and were definitely not in and out.

We tried a bunch of stuff. (So hard to decide what to order!!) My favorites were the Cincinnati-style chili and the Sunny burger. Definitely try the Cinci chili!! It came out piping hot, and the vegan meat crumbles are well-seasoned and delicious. The Sunny burger is delicious too - I liked the house-made patty with all the sauces and fixings, but the burger is a bit small.

We also ordered the grilled dumplings and the spring rolls, which were both good but not wow. My family enjoyed their Mexican Wrap, but the Pho not so much.

The ambience is old-school and I loved that it is vegan activist-oriented. Service was SLOW and mainly focused on DoorDash orders, even though we went in right at opening time.

Pros: Activist-oriented ambience , Good value for money

Cons: The service is SLOW. Don’t be in a hurry!

Family Favorite

We always stop here when passing thru Cincinnati and they never disappoint. Like everywhere, they are short staffed but it was worth the wait. We always buy two entrees each so we can have our next meal from here as well.

Pros: Lots to choose from , Friendly staff, Plant based options

The Staple of Cincinnati

Their Raw Taco Salad is the best. They have a lot of vegan options whether you are new to plant-based meals or a seasoned vegan of many years.

Pros: Lots of Vegan options!, Raw Vegan Options!!!

Cons: Sometimes, the wait can be long., I wish they had more raw opinions.

Different from a Traditional Loving Hut but Good

I know each Loving Hut around the world is individually owned, but in my experience the cuisine from the LH in the USA have all been fairly similar. For that reason, I was disappointed because I had my mind set on one thing. However, this place is still good.

Food is fresh and healthy here, including many raw and gluten-free options.

I loved their Veggie Rice. It was full of flavor. The zucchini bread and chocolate chip cookie were both very good as well.

I did not care for the raw taco salad. The taco "meat" had absolutely no taco flavor or flavor at all.

Nonetheless, it's still a great place to grab a healthy vegan meal.

Absolute All-round Favorite❣️🥰

This is an excellent place to bring vegan curious friends. Lunch and dinner options of sandwiches, excellent & always very fresh salads, and a variety entrees. The employees couldn’t be sweeter or more accommodating. Several dishes from various cuisines such as Me Ivan wraps, pho & spring rolls and even Cincy style chili 3-ways.

Cinci Vegan Gem!

First time here and I had a hard time deciding what to get. I chose the pumpkin chili- divine, grilled dumplings- yum and a CK salad for later. They threw in 2 spring rolls!
