Nice food but some improvement - Edit
I ordered two takeaway currys via Uber Eats last weekend. Being vegan I was so excited to try this as I had heard great things. The takeaway portions were small...it felt like the tub was half empty. The green curry lacked salt, was very spicy and had very little veg inside it. The red curry with morning glory was actually quite delicious and the mushroom pieces were very tasty. I'd give the food a 3.5 rating as for the prices I would have expected everything from the flavours to the quantity to be on point.

One of the best vegan places in London - Edit
Since moving to London less than a year ago, I’ve dined here at least half a dozen times! The food is excellent and it’s quite a large and varied menu. The service is also great. My favourite dishes are definitely the Tom Kha Hed and the morning glory with vegan fish as well as the little chive cakes. They have a good range of non alcoholic options as well as beer and wine. I like that there’s a little terrace to dine in in the summer! I’ve never been disappointed at this restaurant, and I’ll be back over and over again I’m sure.

Read moreMali did not disappoint at all! Even though the restaurant was buzzing, they still made time to take care of our take away order. The staff was super kind and the location was exceptionally beautiful.
We tried some different courses, and they did not disappoint! Worth to mention was the pad see ew - lovely!
We will definitely return, when we visit London again. This time not for the takeaway option 🌱

Authentic and delicious - Edit
Went here for lunch and absolutely loved it, really authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Ordered the spring rolls, larb gai, tom yum, and crispy Thai basil pork with jasmine rice. Restaurant is tucked away down an alley in a really cute and quiet little setting. Definitely recommend, can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Lovely food, a little rushed - Edit
Came here for a date on Saturday night.
Read moreOrdered two of the mock meat noodle dishes, spring rolls and vegan chicken larb.
The food was delicious and great quality but the service seemed quite rushed. They asked us at 2 minutes intervals if we were ready to order. They asked if we wanted all the food to arrive at the same time or the starters to come first. We asked for the starters to come first but the mains actually ended up coming out first and were brought to us less than five
minutes after we ordered them which made us think they may have all been pre- prepared. It’s not a fast food restaurant so I would’ve liked to have a least fifteen minutes to get comfortable and have a drink and a chat before all the food.
Pros: Great quality food , Lovely atmosphere , Good prices
Cons: Felt rushed , Food came out too quickly

We liked it - Edit
We really liked Mali, the satay and the green papaya salad were both excellent. We found some of the main courses a little sweet but that won’t put us off going back. Friendly service and comfortable room.

Really good - Edit
Excellent starters and lots of choice. Wasn't too convinced by the mock meat, and ordered extra spicy and got decently spicy. Would go back just to eat the starters though. I didn't eat the massaman but it looked very good too. Good cocktails too if not that many of them.

Outstanding - Edit
Some of the best food we've eaten in a long time. We had the mushroom and tofu skewers and the chive cakes for starters, and the "cod" stir fry and Mama Je Oat (hotpot with noodles, vegan crab, vegan pork, mushrooms, tofu, ...) for main, the mango with coconut jelly for dessert, and the Boozy Thai Milk Tea to drink. All of these were delicious and highly recommended, but the Mama Je Oat hotpot stood out with its incredible depth of flavours and textures.

Yum! - Edit
I went to dinner at Mali when in London for work. I ordered the mushroom and tofu satay skewers as a starter and the green curry as my main and both was delightful. The spice level of the curry was perfect and it was full of flavour. It's not exactly expensive but it's also not cheap. I paid £30 for a starter, main, rice (you need to order it extra) and ice tea. Staff were lovely though and I much appreciate having a whole menu to choose from. #Veganuary
