Great cafe but food hit and miss. - Edit
Really enjoyed my visit to this cafe. It is peaceful, quiet, tastefully decorated and above all the food is delicious! I had the vegan full english, a slice of carrot cake and a chai latte. I’m normally not a chai latte person but the ones made here are out of this world! The best chai latte I have had in over ten years of being vegan!

Visited today (11/10/25) and did not like the peanut tofu satay dish. Probs 3* dish. Tea and carrot cake were great though and the customer service was impeccable. Carrot cake slice could have been a bit more generous though (tad small for the price imo)

Calm oasis in Bethnal Green - Edit
We intended to go to The Gallery cafe for breakfast which is our usual go to when in this part of London; however, when we got there it was closed for holidays. Luckily, Happy Cow pointed us in the direction of this local cafe.
Read moreFirst impressions were good - lovely calm vibe with a pretty little courtyard. I ordered scrambled tofu with side of chipotle beans & my partner had the full breakfast. Coffee was free with breakfast which was a nice touch.
Food was lovely as was the free coffee.
Now have two go to places for brunch in Bethnal Green!
Pros: Calm relaxed vibe, Good coffee (& free with food!), Dishes can be made GF

Fantastic Matcha - Edit
I ran in very briefly to get an iced matcha latte and a piece of apple and walnut cake. The matcha was delicious! I could see that it was made by whisking it properly and everything, which I thought was really nice too. The cake was also very tasty, and I appreciated it being a whole food cake, though it was definitely pretty expensive considering the small portion size. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely like to come back again! :)

Friendly vegan café - Edit
Amazing vegan café with a courtyard, perfect for sunny days in East London. Also had a large interior! The food is all vegan and there are sometimes some real treats on the menu!

Finally a decent vegan croissant - Edit
This is the only place in London where I found a vegan croissant that was not dry. Sure it’s not located in the city center but worth the detour, there’s plenty of seating space and they are located very close to Victoria Park.

Great food reasonably priced - Edit
The daily menu is great, has lots of options and has a fair price for what is usually found in London. The space has lots of light and feels quite relaxing and well designed. Very friendly staff.

Great comforting food - Edit
The cafe is much bigger than I expected, lots of tables of different sizes. Each menu (breakfast/ lunch / dinner) has 3-4 options along with pastries and cakes.
Read moreI had a regular chai latte which was gorgeous. I also had peanut and bean stew with brown rice, the portion size was perfect- exactly what I would serve myself at home. The stew was really delicious too. Would definitely recommend and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in east London.

Lovely, large vegan café - Edit
This is a fully vegan café with a great range of bakes and hot drinks, plus a couple of (reasonably priced) hot meal options which I assume are changing daily specials.
Read moreIt occupies a triple-fronted site so there's lots of space and seating including a courtyard, and I like that it stays open later than cafés often do.
Pros: Friendly service, Soul playlist , Selection of hot sauce
Cons: Short playlist on repeat , 35p for hot sauce
