Very good fries (the aioli was the best i ever tasted). I really liked it that you could put your own vegetables in the pita to have exactly the food you like the most.The staff was very friendly. Pretty good prices (2.9€ for fries,6.9€ for falafel pita/salad)

I remember when Maoz was on Las Rambla at the beginning of the century, I was converted quickly. I visited the in Madrid, London and Paris. I honestly thought they would take over the world.
Read moreUnfortunately not, but they have a place in my heart and I believe a place in todays vegan market. Back then there were very little grab and go options that could be trusted.
21st century, not the best falafel ever, but pretty damn good, and you know everything is cooked in a vegan environment.
I had a pitta and Glasgow salad. Top stuff and if you need a quick bite, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

If you need a quick vegan meal before going to the Palau Güell, this is perfect! Fresh fixings that you select yourself and very nice falafel and hummus! And the fries were excellent! Very efficient one woman show when we were there … taking orders, cooking, prepping the food, and taking payment … no time for idle chit chat! Only a few seats so we did take away.

After spending a week in Barcelona and visiting many places, in the end I was most keen to return to Maoz. A quick, tasty and above all cheap meal in a great location. Maoz don't pretend to be more than it really is. For me, no drawbacks.

Schmackhaftes Fastfood. Man bekommt ein Pitabrot gefüllt mit Falafel und kann dann am Buffet noch sein Brot auffüllen. Leider ist nicht so viel Platz zum auffüllen, da das Brot nach einem Löffel Kichererbsen schon voll ist. Aber für den schnellen kleinen Hunger ist es sehr gut.

Love this place! You can build your own salad bowl or pitta - both come with falafels and babaganoush and/or hummus. Everything is vegan including the sauces. So reasonably priced, great place to grab healthy food on the go. They do have a few seats inside if you're not looking tot takeout. Great little spot, can't wait to go back!

The set up is a bit chaotic for such a small shop since the counter to self-serve fillings for your pita/falafel bowl wis at the entry point and the till to order and pay for you food at the other end of the store. Causes a weird line of people waiting to order at the door mixed with other customers awaiting their food needing to mingle in the middle before moving towards the entry queue to load up their food with a great selection of salad, sauce and other fillings at the aforementioned fillings bar. Worth the awkwardness because the food was delicious. Falafel filling options was vast but not overwhelming with a good selection of sauces and I was particularly surprised by how good the fries were. I’d return but maybe try to avoid it at times I’d expect it to be busy.

Very nice, small Falafel place, serving Falafel, salads and fries. You can put as many toppings on your falafel as you like and also choose between white or whole-wheat pita bread. The falafel are not cheap, but really good, so it's the perfect place of you need a fast, small meal.

Popped to Maoz just before closing last night as we were feeling peckish. My partner chose the meal deal of a falafel wrap, chips & drink, whilst I just opted for chips (the wrap looked great but I’m allergic to chickpeas so I tend to avoid falafel!)
Read moreIt smelt bloody amazing, looked amazing and the lady that served us was super friendly - helped me practice my Spanish and even offered me a free falafel ball (I swiftly explained my allergy to chickpeas!)
Judging by the speed with which my partner demolished his wrap I’d say it was good. He says based on flavour and quantity it’s definitely 5 stars!
