Vegan Bowl - I added jackfruit for a $4 upcharge, but this bowl did not need it. I was blown away by the authenticity of the island flavors. I’ve been thoroughly disappointed by some other places serving bland rice and lazily seasoned beans. Not here!! The rice and black beans were slapping!! Then they add avocado, pickled red onions, maduros, y tostones. It’s a lot of food. You definitely get your money’s worth.
They have a vegan mayo ketchup and a vegan garlic mayo. Get them both. And there’s a chipotle salsa that you should ask about si se gusta algo más picante.
I also tried their fruit juice made with pure cane sugar: mango and strawberry mixed was very satisfying.
As we were leaving, the manager told me that they have more items that can be made vegan. I will 100% be back soon to try every single vegan item they offer.

This is a great place if you're gluten intolerant as well as vegetarian/vegan! They are very knowledgeable about both. I got the vegan bowl and it was delicious. They have vegan Mayo lot chip. You just have to ask for it. #Veganuary

The food was delicious. I got arroz con gandules, jackfruit pernil and tostones with vegan mayoketchup. It's the first time I got vegan mayoketchup in an not vegan place and it was wonderful.
