Never disappoints 👌🏻 - Edit
No matter which Mildreds branch you go to, it’s always amazing. The flavours in the dishes, the ambience and the staff are all so lovely 😊 tried the tempeh noodle dish aswell as the corn ribs and the gyozas to start and it was all 10/10!

Great spot close to Kings X - Edit
The food was delicious and service was quick and friendly. The menu feels like a mash up of Asian flavours and some classic Spanish tapas - we loved the Padron peppers with the Tahini sauce! They have a nice outdoor area too, perfect for warm summer days.

Nice food - Edit
Mildreds has been a forerunner of the veg scene and remains with visiting. This branch has an Asian focus, and very nice mains. The tiramisu was just ok, with lots of cream and not much white chocolate flavour

Perfect pre-train journey meal! - Edit
This branch is perfect for grabbing a meal before catching a train - less than 10 mins walk from King's Cross/St Pancras. Great variety of options, delicious food (the sticky toffee pudding might be the best vegan dessert I've ever had!), super quick service & friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend.

Great desserts - Edit
This place is legendary. And when I visited London it was a must see on my list. I placed the reservation over a month in advanced, and was so looking forward to it.
Read moreTheir desserts proved they live up to their legacy. Creamy & delicious works of art that are hard to believe are vegan.
Unfortunately, i can't say I loved the meal and appetizer. Now to be fair I'm an American who ordered the traditional British Christmas dinner, so I may have set myself up for disappointment. The meal itself looked beatiful, the flavors on the other hand were too heavy with Sage. But apparently this is how it's supposed to be. So I can't fault them. Would like to return someday and taste a more modern non-seasonal dish.

Liked the ambiance but food was so-so - Edit
I came here for breakfast before my flight and had high hopes from the reviews. I really loved the inside of this restaurant- it was beautifully decorated and very comfy. The staff were also lovely. I got the charmoulah brunch and something was just off. The flavors weren’t right and didn’t go together well- also the fried aubergine was way too salty. I’d definitely go back and try something different next time but for the high prices, I expected better.

Outstanding all plant based chain - Edit
The bokkeumbap or kimchi fried rice was just killer. The tofu was incredible, sweet and crispy crunchy on the outside. I’m going to dream about this dish for sure. I wasn’t so crazy about the spiced sticky toffee. It was light but not so decadent as I remember other sticky toffees. I haven’t had a vegan one I love yet.
Read moreWe came here for my birthday after I got an email for a free bottle of fizz for my birthday. They had 0% which suited us and it was nice and generous at £35 for a bottle!?! The burgers were great although they were slightly cold when they arrived which is a shame. The kimchi stir fry rice was slightly different and not as good as I remembered. Very lovely tropical pineapple curry. We weren’t so impressed with the white chocolate tiramisu as it wasn’t very coffee flavored. I couldn’t detect the white chocolate which is good as I’m not such a white chocolate fan.

Good food, but too oily to my taste - Edit
High quality food and a good atmosphere, but why is everything swimming in oil? It enhances flavor alright, but after a certain amount it takes away from the experience.

Pancakes Pancakes - Edit
We had the buttermilk pancake double stack: banana biscoff caramel and the buttermilk pancake double stack: berry vanilla with a cappuccino and a latte. I was expecting the pancakes to be fluffy but sadly they were not. They aren’t sweet at all only if you add the white creamy sauce on top. I was a bit disappointed with the texture but overall it was a good breakfast.

Phenomenal! - Edit
I visited with my wife for our anniversary and we loved it!
Read moreWe went on a Wednesday evening and it was basically full the whole time we were there, so I would definitely recommend booking. The restaurant itself has a nice decor and feel. The waiters were friendly and very efficient taking our orders and bringing the food. They made us feel taken care of without feeling rushed.
And the food itself was absolutely delicious! We always share our meals (so we can try more!) and we got starters, mains and desserts so we got to try a good chunk of the menu and everything we had was excellent.
For starters we got the Whipped Feta (With the optional add-on of Paratha bread) and the Tortelloni. The Tortelloni was very tasty with great texture and flavours but the Whipped Feta was even better! It was just amazing – It had a lovely creamy texture and the flavours were just absolutely delicious! The Paratha was also excellent – warm, crispy and flaky and sprinkled with salt which levelled it up even more.
For mains we got the Shish Tawook Kebab and Yaki Udon, with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. The kebab was excellent – The ‘chicken’ had a great texture and the rice it came with was a delicious combination of flavours. The Udon was also absolutely delicious with more different delicious flavours. The Sweet Potato Fries were also lovely and crispy with a delicious soft centre. They also came with a free pot of sauce – we went for Mayo and it was really good.
For dessert we went for the White Chocolate Tiramisu and Chocolate Cake, and couldn't resist getting the Almond Whiskey Cream Truffle as well! The chocolate cake was lovely and rich with a great dense texture. It came with a chocolate sauce which was also lovely and rich and a very tasty salted caramel ice cream. The White Chocolate Tiramisu was also excellent with a lovely moist sponge and great flavour. The truffles (it turned out one truffle on the menu was actually three!) were also really good.
Every single dish we had was delicious and I loved the variety of flavours – every dish we had was different but each was excellent in its own way!
Pros: Loads of variety, Unusual and creative dishes, Delicious flavours

New pan Asian menu - Edit
Returning to Mildred’s after some time, I couldn't help but notice its striking resemblance to a couple of beloved Edinburgh restaurants. The vegetable-based menu truly shines with its top-notch offerings. I opted for the salt and pepper kimchi tofu, generously accompanied by a variety of vegetables, leaving me with a satisfying feeling as I departed London. Although I didn't sample it myself, my dining companions thoroughly enjoyed the burger, and the artichoke salad was a delightful addition to our meal. A definite must-visit if you find yourself with some time to spare in London.

Ooops, I did it again! - Edit
Lunch at Mildred’s was our reward today and we felt we had earned it. Our starters we chose as Patatas Bravas and the cabbage dish followed by mains of Udon Noodles and Hoi Sin Duk Bun with sides of Broccoli and also the Kimchi. A glass of Tinto and tap water joined this delicious food and because it was a Mildred’s, we spoiled ourselves even further and ooohed and aaahed our way through a Crème Brûlée and a portion of almond Truffles washed down with coffee. The restaurant is one of convenience, as it’s a short walk from King’s Cross station along the Pentonville Road. Mildred’s is based in a relatively new building hosting plenty of tables in a light and airy space. There is also a small outdoor area but today, my goodness it was wet and therefore remained unused. As today had turned into a treat day, we bought our second Mildred’s cook book and can’t wait to give this one a go! Cheerful staff at the restaurant helped enhance the atmosphere, as did the great choice of music playing.

Yummy food - Edit
Mildred’s is a must go for me when in London. The pancakes are just amazing. We tried a different breakfast as well which was very tasty.
Read moreBooking worked well and the male waiter was super.
We got disappointed by the seat placement. Everything is very tight and if you have more than a tiny handbag and are placed on a table you can choose to place your bag on the dirty floor or next to you where the waiter ask you to put it somewhere else. Meanwhile is half of the restaurant empty but you are squeezed between the prime example of “bitchy Londoners”. Anyway that might be just personal luck. The food is amazing but I would recommend the outlets in Soho. Had much nicer experience there.
Pros: Amazing food
Cons: Seat placement when the restaurant I empty
