Vegan cakes what’s not to love - Edit
We arrived not long before closing so only had the window display to choose from but that was ok because amongst the sweet things were some gorgeous cacti cupcakes. They looked so adorable I had to get one for B who loves cacti. I had the tiffin.
Read moreLater back at the hotel we enjoyed our purchases with a cup of vanilla chai tea. The cupcake was too beautiful to eat but it had to be done. The tiffin was lovely and moist and chocolatey.

my favorite bakery! - Edit
Everything I've tried here has been absolutely incredible and, in my opinion, indistinguishable from their non-vegan counterparts. The carrot cake they serve was so good that it nearly brought tears of joy to my eyes; I truly cannot recommend this place enough. And, as an added bonus, I often see them on weekends at the farmer’s markets, and its always nice to be able to grab some vegan sweets while you’re out shopping on a Saturday morning.

Spectacular cakes - Edit
Really incredible selection of cakes in a cosy venue near the university. Would recommend the custard slice and chocolate truffle. Also the portions are huuuuge and great quality for money. Cafe has an arty vibe with lots of artisan art and craft being sold. Super friendly staff.

Incredible 😍 - Edit
I’ve yet to go to Missy’s physical store however they often have a stall at the Saturday market on the Grassmarket. Spotted them on my way back to my flat this weekend and the baked goods look so good! I popped back out about an hour later to pick up a few goodies from the stall. Incredibly friendly man served me, bought the original chocolate brownie and a double choc cookie sandwich 😩😍 unreal!! Large portions tons too choose from. I’ll definitely try to pop round to the store for coffee and cake soon!

Mastered the art of vegan baking - Edit
I've bought their cakes at markets, vegan festivals and at their café close to the uni, and they've never disappointed! In my opinion, they've truly mastered the art of vegan baking. They sell not just cupcakes, but also brownies, sweet and savoury cheesecakes, lemon meringue cake and my all-time favourite: vanilla slice! I have such good memories from eating their cakes, and my flatmate and I are big fans!

Delicious sweet treats! - Edit
Small coffee shop near The Meadows. They're doing takeaway now, you can see all the products through the window and order through the door. Everything looks great! There are lots of sweet treats and you can also order hot drinks. I had a peanut butter cookie marshmallow sandwich and a chocolate cupcake and they were both delicious. I'll definitely be back.

All the things! - Edit
I'm so pleased to see Missy's with their own shop, I've been buying their cakes from their stalls for years. They have sweet and savoury pastries, cheezecake, cupcakes, tiffin, and more harder vegan finds like vanilla slice, and more unique items like cookie dough truffles (one of my personal favourites).

Yummy vegan cakes - Edit
Missy's Vegan Cupcakes have been on the go for a while. They are a familiar face at many of Edinburgh's markets, but it's fantastic to see them in their new bricks-and-mortar shop.

Keep an eye on the Facebook page to find where you can find this lovely man. Often at the Grassmarket farmers market, monthly at the Vegan Quarter in Leith, and vegfest is a haunt when in Scotland.
