Great vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
Came last March and had the jumbo vegan okonomiyaki. It was huge and very filling!

In order to make delicious okonomiyaki available to vegans, vegan okonomiyaki was added to the menu in 2023. In addition, from 2024, you can choose rice flour instead of wheat flour. The taste is rich with kelp stock and lots of vegetables. It's delicious. There are also several vegan options for side dishes, so it's fun to choose.

Tiny traditional Okinimyaki restaurant with a dedicated vegan section on the menu. Staff speaks fairly good English and is extremely forthcoming. 100% recommended to everyone who is visiting Kyoto.

Amazing vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
There is a whole vegan page in the menu. However, it’s only in japanese and the staff also did not know English. But with the help of google translate we were able to order and communicate with the very friendly staff. The vegan okonomiyaki was amazing and absolutely delicious.

Fantastic vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
Great place where if you are vegan you can still fully enjoy the Japanese cuisine experience, the member of staff speak English and they where extremely polite and cheerful. I must go for vegans/veggie and anyone who loves okonomiyaki 😊

Not much English spoken here / no English menu, but there is a separate vegan menu. The fries and donut are fried in the same fryer as meat. The okunomiyaki is good! I don’t think I am in LoVe with it but I’m happy I could try vegan okunomiyaki.
