Amazing food in an unsuspecting place - Edit
This precious little gem is tucked in an side street full of stores by a very busy road. Once you get in you are greeted by a minimalist decor akin to Western coffee shops. It is a very inviting place to work or just chill for a coffee, with a bit of library atmosphere.
Read moreThe menu is mostly vegetarian versions of local dishes along with the usual pizzas and burgers, but by no means less delicious. They offer (at extra charge) sides of veggie drumstick of "fillet" with some of the dishes. Tried the fillet and it was absolutely incredible, albeit looking like veggie phish. The cucuk jagung (corn crispy fritters) are equally tasty, although a bit on the greasy side for my taste.
Be advised the portions are quite generous and the pricing is very decent.
The only con I would note is the drinks being quite sugary, however, knowing the local custom, it was my mistake for not asking for no sugar

Great, Comfortable Place To Relax And Work - Edit
The menu here is one of the better ones you'll find. There are lots of kid-friendly items but also, some more creative takes on local/Western favourites. Things like the broths were flavoursome and they did make an attempt to make it to taste.
Read moreThe inside is really conducive to being a good place to get work done. It's spacious and well-lit. The seating is also comfortable. With this in mind, the drinks menu is particularly large and will have a lot of things that are not readily available in other places.
A lot of items are made to order so that they can take long to prepare. Unfortunately, one of the items that would normally take such a time was missed from our order. We were not able to wait for the items to be prepared from scratch having already waited for the original time, and this was a shame as we had heard good things about it!
This was the only problem during a very enjoyable lunch. Thank you, M'Laboori!
