Calm retreat in Kyoto old town

If you are searching for a break from the full streets of the old town of Kyoto, this is the place to go. It's a beautifully decorated café with a short but good menu, mostly vegan. They serve morning and lunch menus for a decent price!
Also have a look at their small shop in the front part of the restaurant. You might find some nice handmade cup or other cute local things.

Cute and cozy

Friendly staff and cozy place. The menu is easy to read. I really liked the place and there were vegan muffins. Has oat and soy milk.

Calming Lunch

Had a beautiful vegetable curry that was delicious and just what I was craving after struggling to find vegan food in Kyoto. They do only offer the one curry but it is delicious and for only 1200 yen with a coffee!

Pros: Delicious food, Calm vibes, Good coffee

Cons: Only 1 option

Lovely food, with a wee shop and cozy interior

This is a lovely wee place tugged away between other small shops and cafes in a busy street leading through Kyoto's main temple area. The owners were lovely and the food tasted great and was cooked with much attention to detail. They also offer different seasonal drinks, which are very tasty!

Lovely little restaurant

Loved this little family run restaurant. I had the vegetable curry (eggplant) which was the only meal option and 2 of the vegan muffins and a scone. Its a little restaurant with Japanese decor.

Pros: Yummy muffins, Sells alcohol, Lovely staff

Cons: Only 1 main meal option

Cute cafe

Had a traditional sake pudding with strawberry jam on top and grape juice which was lovely! Unfortunately you have to pay extra for soy milk and even more for oat milk..
