I am very excited to be able to have Persian dishes although I wish there were more on the menu!
Read moreThe combination of cultures and flavors works very well and you can tell that the owners/staff really believe in what they are doing. We had some Mexican and Persian tacos and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Unfortunately they had run out of desserts, so will need to come back for that!

Monchito was, by far, the best Mexican restaurant in Barcelona. Now, adding a brand new Persian twist to the already excellent venue, it has only improved.

Los mejores tacos que he probado. La elección de los ingredientes casa a la perfección. La tortilla está jugosa, flexible, deliciosa, el relleno de chorizo con especias persas súper umami y equilibrado con la cremosidad de la patata y coronado por unos finitos encurtidos por encima... De verdad, es una bomba de sabor con un montón de capas.

The first time we've ever been to a Persian-Mexican restaurant and it works so well! Everything we tried was amazing: mocktails, nachos, tacos, dips. Especially don't skip dessert: both options were highlights for us!

The best vegan taco I ever had - Edit
I find this place randomly when walking in El Gothic, turns out it is a very famous vegan taco place in Barcelona. I tried Bandari (Persian fusion with Mexican) and pig friendly, both very delicious and healthy. Also I tried their Mexican beer and Persian desert, both very good. Can not recommend this place enough.
