Délicieux Tofish and chips - Edit
Très beau resto cozzy au centre de Glasgow. Meilleur fish and chip que j'ai mangé de ma vie 😅 la panure est légère et le tofu est tendre.

Really nice, will definitely come back - Edit
The whole place is lovely, very nice atmosphere and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was fantastic, took a while to come out but was all clearly fresh which made it worth the wait. It was also quite busy when we went so was to be expected.
Read moreAlso has a record shop right inside the place, which was very cool to look around and passed the time whilst waiting for our food to arrive.
Pros: All vegan , Great atmosphere , Record shop
Cons: Can take a while for food at busy times

Nice food, but slow, slow service - Edit
Food is pretty good and they update the menu fairly regularly so there's usually something new to try. Good mix of comfort foods like pizza, macaroni and burgers, as well as lighter, fresher foods like salads, tacos and sandwiches. The macaroni is especially tasty, but the to-fish is a bit oily for me. Really bright, airy space with outdoor seating in the summer.
Read moreHowever, the service is SLOW and not always particularly friendly. Do not come here if you want a quick bite to eat - it's not unusual to wait an hour to get your food. If you can see the funny side and don't mind sitting back with a drink while you wait then it's not too bad.
Pros: Good food, Lots of choice, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Slow service

For those nights you want a chippy - Edit
Offering good sized portions in a comfortably spaced environment; this is always a convenient place to go (especially if you're after a chippy that night). But the food is just that, chippy tea level, and nothing much more.

Great but slow - Edit
Love the food here but not somewhere to go if you're in a rush! But provided you're happy to take things slowly a lovely place.

Fantastic Food - Edit
I've been a couple of times and it's always amazing food in a nice relaxed atmosphere. It's a varied menu which changes every now and again too so plenty of things to try. It's the only place I've ever come across that does a vegan pizza crunch

A super nice venue, very friendly staff, succulent food! There are also live shows and even a record store. I would gladly come here for the bar only.

All vegan and delicious - Edit
Fantastic vegan food! My daughter had a great beet and “feta” cheese salad. It was really nice. My son had a huge serving of Mac and cheese, and my husband and I had the arancini balls. Delicious! Even a non vegan would have been happy eating here! I totally recommend Mono

Similar vibe to some of the other vegan spots in Glasgow. Doubles up as a gig space, got a really good bar and even a record store attached! Food and menu excellent, service a tiny bit slow for some but not me, I'll wait a long time for good food. Seems like it's a hang out place for students, lots of cool kids and even cooler dogs. Another great Glaswegian vegan spot to add to the list!

Good food and lovely vibe - Edit
Popped in for dinner last night and had the mac and cheese. Was sooo good. Also tried the battered oyster mushrooms which were delicious and so light. Also a super nice chilled out vibe which I loved. Plan to go back soon and work my way through their menu!

Average food, great service - Edit
I was very excited to try this place after reading so many good reviews and I was left disappointed. I had the artichoke bruschetta and the Greek-inspired pita. The bruschetta was nothing special: a toast (not even a nice bread) with some pieces of canned artichokes, tomatoes and rocket. The seitan in the pita was quite nice but it was scarcely found, with more salad than anything else.
Read moreCompared to other places I tried in Glasgow, I give the food a 2/5. I added one star because the service was excellent.

Good food, but could be better - Edit
I had the mac and cheese and unfortunately it wasn’t as great as it looked, it had that typical vegan cheese coconut oil taste which was way too strong… I think for a recipe like this a different vegan cheese option or a mix with other flavours will definitely help!

Wow - Edit
Absolutely amazing vegan cafe. Such a lovely vibe. I had the Macaroni Cheese which was absolutely delicious and so comforting - it came with a side salad and homemade garlic bread. I then shared the churro cheesecake which was the BEST vegan cheesecake I have ever had. Highly recommend visiting, it’s around 10mins walk from St Enoch Subway station.

What is it with Glasgow and having the best vegan sandwiches in the world!! Anyways, highly recommend the reuben. We also tried the mac'n'cheese which wasn't the best I've ever had but was still really comforting and delish.

Good vibes and good tunes. - Edit
I love going to a vegan place and there being more than the standard vegan burger or buddha bowl, so when I saw Mono did tofish tacos, I was sold. My husband had the mac and cheeze and was kind enough to let me try it. They also did a very nice oat flat white.

We ate the souvlaki in pita bread and to fish supper. Both were very delicious and the texture and taste of the 'meat' and 'fish' great.
