Beautiful building, knowledgeable staff - Edit
Stopped for breakfast. Great seating options - we ended up facing the kitchen so breakfast plus a show! Just grabbing a quick bite so I ordered the granola made vegan. Delicious. The decor is gorgeous and I loved how staff and patrons were kind to the pigeons (and the floor matched their plumage 🤌)

The food, ambiance, drinks, and just about everything is so instragrammable here and everyone in San Diego seems to be willing to line up for hours just to get on the wait list! They have vegan pancakes, vegan eggs, and vegan chorizo along with plant-based milks as options and they are all delicious. Try to come when they open if you can or be prepared to wait a few hours, especially on Saturdays when the farmer’s market is going on. Parking is tough so factor that into your timing as well. The upside is, once you get on the wait list, you can walk around Little Italy, check out shops and bakeries, or people watch while soaking up some sunshine!

if you need a brunch place in downtown san diego, this is a perfect place to try with friends! the wait was long, but it was definitely worth it. the menu has a good amount of vegan options and the workers are so kind, they will work with you to find something you can and want to eat. the atmosphere is incredible. i would go again and just sit!! definitely a bucket list restaurant in san diego. would recommend to vegan and non vegan friends alike!
