Fresh and fragrant with friendly host - Edit
Loved this place! Great vibe, super friendly owner, and excellent food. The couscous was so tasty, the carrot salad with almond feta was divine, and the mixed plate was excellent. A little pricy but worth it!

Color and flavor - Edit
I had Moroccan food here for the first time, and I loved the flavor and seasoning so much, I came back only 2 days later!
Read moreCurrently, there are 3 dishes that are vegan-friendly:
- Carrot salad (ask for vegan cheese!)
- Morococo over rice - vegan version
- Vegan Tagine with couscous (not on the menu, but available upon request)
The cafe/bistro is located along the main road of Haebangchon (HBC 해방촌). You first order and pay at the counter, then the food will be brought to your table. It's a bit dark inside, there are not a lot of tables and seating is not the most comfortable. But the atmosphere is still warm and friendly.
Pros: taste good
Cons: wish they had more options

This is a great little place in HBC. The staff is very friendly. They are also dog friendly on their small patio. But there is not a lot of seating here nor tons of options.

Favourite restaurant in HBC! - Edit
My favourite restaurant in the HBC neighbourhood! The 'vegan over rice' is fresh, healthy, satisfying and absolutely delicious. I love the combination of spices and flavours. The carrot salad is also delicious (but be aware it has cheese on it). The restaurant is small, cosy and friendly.

Simply beautiful - Edit
Beautiful color combination will make you feel joyful already. Simple, fresh, tasty, healthy. Reasonable price will satisfy you too. Best carrot salad (ask w/out peta cheese) and veggie over rice is fantastic!

Delicious and cozy - Edit
I've been here a couple of times now and the food is delicious as is the wine, with good options for both vegans and non vegan friends. The atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly! Worth making a reservation for a bigger group, it gets busy.

Small and cozy place with very nice owner - Edit
We came to this restaurant with a big group but since the place is pretty small, they couldn't place us here. However, across the street they had the restaurant Casablanca with which they worked together so we could sit there and order food from both places. I ordered the Morocco over rice vegan version and it was super delicious!

Visited this place 4 months ago, but forgot to upload a review. I had the carrot salad and Morocco over rice. Both ave very delicious. It was quiet on that day, so I also had a nice conversation with the owner, Mr. Wahid.

it was so yummy and they even have vegan halloumi cheese for additional 3000krw which was delicious BUT the red sauce was immensely spicy (I guess that's Moroccan cuisine haha) so if you're not so good with spice, maybe ask for them to leave it out and make everything as little spicy as possible.

Affordable, tasty and healthy - Edit
Chef Wahid is well known for his big portions, quality food and good prices. He opened Morococo Cafe after his sandwich shop Casablanca was well enough established to be able to experiment more. He has a new vegan tagine launching this month, Moroccan over Rice Vegan dish with tempeh, plant milk lattes and also a carrot salad that can be ordered without cheese.
