A mixed bag - Edit
A few options but most of them were pretty bland. Nachos were pretty good compared to the tacos that we had. Lots of ways to customize other menu items to make them vegan but after the tacos I'd assume they'd be lacking flavor as well.

Meh all around and expensive - Edit
The service was incredibly slow. This may have just been our particular server as they were moving around so slow that it looked like they weren't on the clock.
Read moreMenu options and food were mostly meh. The enchiladas had a really thin sauce that totally dried out on the tortillas when baked, they were pretty small, and they used a tortilla so small that the ends were left open like a flauta. I've never had enchiladas like that before. The bean and potato mash in the enchiladas was just ok. The vegan nachos were well layered with sauce, beans, and veggies all throughout but the flavor was pretty bland.
The bright spot for my meal was the vegan chorizo that I ordered on the side and mixed in with my rice and salsas. Not good enough to make it a good experience but enough to keep me from being totally disappointed.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options on the menu
Cons: Expensive , Slow service , Food was meh

Not impressed - Edit
There were a few options, which is always nice. But everything was flavorless and bland.
Read moreI ordered the nachos and asked for them vegan (which was an option) and the waitress said "do you want them all the way vegan?"... 😑
I got the vegan tacos also.
Overpriced for what it was.
The staff was nice. The plating was nicely done.
I won't be back, as I feel Asheville has some better vegan options.
Pros: Staff was nice, Attractive plating
Cons: Overpriced , No flavor, Small portions

Decent amount of options, could be better - Edit
I appreciate the options they have. The tacos are pretty good. The nachos are pretty good veganized, but $20 for nachos plus a “protein” of avocado seems really steep.
Read moreI got the enchiladas this time, which were black bean and potato filled. Turned out it was more like a mash inside, no texture at all. I ate it but wouldn’t order it again.
It’s an ok play to go to with a group of vegans and non vegans but I wouldn’t go on my own. Plenty of better options around. It feels like the vegan options are an after thought here.
Pros: Multiple options, Servers knowledgeable
Cons: Food is just ok, Expensive

So many options! - Edit
Love all the options here! They have vegan queso and vegan chicken and chorizo as protein options. Can easily veganize menu items, plus already created vegan options are on the menu! I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up veganizing the burrito bowl with vegan chorizo. We also got the vegan tacos and vegan chorizo. It was very good! We sat outside and enjoyed our dinner!

Meh - Edit
The food is bland and the the vegan version of the enchiladas are nothing like the menu description. Probably a good time if you want to drink margaritas, but don’t come here for the food. There are better options just a couple doors down from here.

Fun Time - Edit
I've been like 4 years ago and they have since updated their menu for the better it seems. I love the environment and the drinks. My friends really enjoyed the vegan queso although I did not.

Great Service, Okay Food - Edit
We were so excited to see that this place could do so many Mexican dishes as vegan. But they weren't that great; just substituted ready-made fake chicken and meat in place of the real thing; it seemed too processed. Also, not that much flavor. The enchiladas were disappointing, but the taco salad was good. Keep it simple and you'll do fine here. Just not an inspired meal.

Not worth the money - Edit
I was really disappointed with the size of the vegan tacos. Like 2 mini tacos with just some veggies and rice and beans for 16 dollars. Thankfully I had loaded up on their amazing guacamole to be satisfied. I would only go back for an app and drink, not an actual meal.

Had the vegan enchiladas and salsa sampler. All the food was fresh. Salsas and rice were very flavorful, but the enchiladas were on the bland side.

Delicious - Edit
Super tasty. Not full vegan menu but a good amount of options for being a Mexican restaurant. They also allow for modifications to make other dishes vegan. I had the vegan tacos and they were really good. The margarita syrups are also all house made and they have a specialty tequila that the owners went to Mexico and picked out for their restaurant specifically.

Yummy Vegan enchiladas - Edit
I ordered the vegan enchilada and it was very good. It was a pretty big portion and had a lot of flavor. They had other vegan options as well but the server told me the enchiladas were his favorites and he mentioned he was not even vegan! 10/10 recommend ordering the enchiladas if you go here :)

Yum - Edit
Holy yuuum. Came here with my bf, he had the burrito bowl and added corn tortillas & said it was the best vegan taco he's had. I had the vegan tacos with corn tortillas jicama slaw (10/10 would recommend). Was drawn here for the vegan enchiladas but I didn't get to try bc they won't make with corn tortillas BUT very satisfying meal. Spicy guac is 👌

Expensive for what it is - Edit
Food is tasty and fresh but the prices are inflated for what you’re getting. I enjoyed my veggie enchiladas, but they didn’t blow my mind. The bill was $50 after tip for two people (two entrees and a shared appetizer; no drinks) which seemed excessive both for the area and for what we got.

I had a green goddess marg which is unique and tasty but I wasn't over the top wowd by it. I also ordered the $9 Arugula and Radish Salad which had a lack luster amount of ingredients and could've been bigger.

Worst - Edit
We were excited to try it here. We walked in, hostess was so aloof and rude, restaurant was empty (should have been a warning), were begrudgingly seated - and right next to a table of two women. I had to get up and move because they had ordered some type of seafood and it smelled so badly I nearly threw up. I wanted to leave right then but my husband was hungry so we stayed “for chips and guacamole.” I was sad when I learned the only “veggie” options were fake meats. I don’t like fake meats. We left and never came back.
