Excellent toasties - Edit
We tried both of the toasties on offer and both are delicious. Favourite would be the spice impossible toasties. Iced kopi was very good as well. Tiramisu and the snickers tart were also delicious! Cant fault it. Also staff super friendly.

My partner and I are obsessed with the food here. We come for our weekly breakfast toastie on the weekend which is delicious, amazing coffee and a cute and tasty cupcake.
Read moreWe’ve also been a couple of times in the evenings for the Malaysian food which is absolutely amazing, so tasty and great price for the amount of food.
Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere and we are so happy it’s moved to ponsonby and closer to us now!!

I’m really glad to see they’ve reopened in Ponsonby. It’s a lovely spot with a couple outdoor tables, and the food is truly delicious. We had the chicken curry with roti, and the tiramisu biscoff cake and red velvet cupcake. We ended up getting more cake to go because it was so good, but the curry -omg - I’ll be thinking about for days… it was SO good.

Cheesecakes and cupcakes are my weakness if I’m craving something sweet- this place is 100% plant based 🌱 and a great treat! 😁 I would recommend the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes if you get a chance to try them! 🥹 a pack of 6 is around $35 and they’re incredible!!! Wish we lived closer while here to try more choices.

A Vegan Spot in Takapuna ! - Edit
I'm so happy this vegan cafe specialising in desserts opened in the centre of Takapuna. Last week was my second time visiting and I got a raspberry brownie and a tiramisu panna cotta to takeout. Everything in the cabinet looks so yummy and I can't wait to try the cupcakes next time ! The nearby Shore City mall offers 2 hours free parking if you're also visiting there and Mudita is located within a short walking distance through the public carpark.

Everything was incredible. Went there for a birthday brunch with non-vegans and everyone loved their food. The carrot cake and cheesecake were amazing, pies were the best we have ever had and the coffee was delicious. 10/10

I had a duck panini which was way more tastier than i thought it would be. I also had a coffee macaroon - best macaroon I have ever tasted, served with brown sugar ice cream. Everything was lovely and it was worth the trip over the bridge.

The person serving was lovely - she might have been the owner.
Easy parking with free 30 minute street parking and a carpark down the way at $2.50 ph. Mudita can be found inside a little shopping mall off the street.
