We happened to try Mumbaikar while strolling Bloor St and hungry for a snack. Limited veganizable options marked on the menu. I appreciated the staff being very aware of what vegan means and guiding me with my vegan menu options.. but this place doesn’t really cater to vegans.😕 Mostly vegan-by-subtraction options. The server informed me that none of their chutneys that come with the chaats are vegan, which was surprising. I ended up with the Misal Pav, which was tasty but spiiiiicy!
