Really nice employee, food amazing

I am vegan, and my boyfriend is vegetarian. Of course being veggie is easier, I ate the cocos curry and it was amazing (a bit spicy too haha). The employee was super nice and even told us a bit of their culture he had much understanding of being vegan. Definitely a go to!

Good red curry

Flavorful and well portioned red curry with tofu, would order again

Fast service

FYI they don’t serve tap water in the Flemish region, need to order water in a glass bottle

Pros: Great vegan curry with tofu , Fast service

Great Thai food

We ordered online, nice and easy. When we got there to pick up our food, the staff was very friendly. Kind of made us wish we didn't choose pick-up but ate in the restaurant instead!

A decent Thai restaurant

Having read some of the other reviews on here I am quite surprised to be honest.
11 of us went here on a Monday night and all really enjoyed the food.
The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The only negative I would say is that it took a little while for our order to be taken, but then we were a large party that turned up on a week night.
I had the Thai red curry with extra tofu and it was amazing. The vegetable spring rolls were also crispy to perfection.
I would definitely go again if I was in Bruges, if only to see if I can replicate other people’s experiences! 😂

Great food

Lovely food and plenty of it, it would be helpful to mark vegan wines and beers but they were easily found on line.
It would be good to see some vegan starters

Pros: Lovely food , Clearly marked vegan , Good portions

Cons: No starters marked vegan

Not so vegan!

I had the vegetable curry with the coconut milk. I asked the waitress is there's any animal products in it to be sure. In the middle of my meal I found a piece of chicken in my soup 😩 Other than that, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant very nice.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Expensive, Not many options

Very nice and friendly!

The restaurant was quite nice. Located near the market and easy to find.
There were lots of vegetarian options which were easy veganised.
The service were great and extra friendly!
Prices are normal (highish) for Bruges.
The portions were large and very very tasty! (Like I’m Thailand)
There was the possibility to have the rest wrapped up.

Pros: Vegan friendly

Cons: No vegan signs , No Tofu

Very delicious

I took the Tom Kha Soup in vegan (I just asked for it in vegan). It was very delicious. I ordered rice extra but I didn’t have to pay it because I had the soup as a main dish. The staff was very nice and the ambient was nice. Price was high for the soup (7,50 €) but normal in this area and good with the rice for free.

Pros: Friendly and flexible

Cons: Could have more vegan options

Very heavy food

We ate there with 2 omni's, since they serve some vegan options. I don't have a weak stomach, but I felt quite unwell after eating there. The omni's were fine, but we, the vegans, had an extremely heavy stomach the whole night.

The food however didn't taste bad, but there are better Thai options in the city.

Called us disgusting vegans

This was honestly the most rude staff I have ever encountered. From the start the waitress was rude, laughing in my friends face when she asked for chips, then got all the staff to laugh at us saying they're a Thai restaurant not a chip shop. They were so rude the whole time. The food was bland, no taste. The only thing I could taste in the massaman was watery nutmeg.
I ordered a tofu massaman with rice. However she did not tell me the massaman came with rice, instead she put a side of rice onto the order at $15!! Only $1 less than the main meal! I questioned why she had not told us it came with rice and why it was $15 she immediately began shouting in my face that I ordered it and if I wanted to know if it came with rice I should have asked. She then continued to scream at me when I asked to see the price of the side rice in the menu and could not show me this. I asked for her to reduce the price as it is a side dish and I also had not eaten it as I already had two portions of rice with the mains. She again starting screaming at me. My boyfriend did not want an argument so he went to pay. Then I said okay we will pay but I think it is disgusting charging $15 for a rice we did not want or need.
Suddenly she was screaming and pointing in my face calling me disgusting and a [censored]. My boyfriend pulled his card out the machine stating he is not paying until she apologises. She said sorry for saying I'm disgusting. The minute his card payment went through she began screaming again saying I was a disgusting [censored]. Then the owner came screaming in my face that I have to pay now, I said we had paid and she screamed again in my face YOU PAY RIGHT NOW! I told the waitress she was extremely rude and we would never becoming again. As I walked out I knocked a candle over by the door and suddenly the owner was dragging my arms and pulling me back into the restaurant saying she was calling the police. I was trying to get myself off her and she was literally dragging me around the street. A police van drove past and she let go of me and flagged it down so we went down a side street . Our friends were still stood outside. The women turned on them telling the police they had not paid. They then told the police that they had paid but I had stole the money so they must pay again. They forced my friend to clean tables and tried to get them arrested. However we had all paid, they were lying. The police could see we had paid and not done anything wrong so obviously let us go.

Cons: Never told them I was vegan but shouted at me , for asking about rice called me a disgusting [censored], When I said why she said because I am vegan

Says you posted this on Jan 19. Did this just happen? That's a really terrible story I hope that everyone finds out about this place and it gets shut down if this is true. My experience with thai people overall is money is their top priority over everything.

Alright

Had the vegan rice noodles from the vegetarian menu. Was alright but rather sweet, i let the waiter know this. Portion is big. The food doesn't seem to use msg. I get the feeling that the restaurant thrives from the meat/fish menu and doesn't put a lot of time/effort on the veg menu. Main dish water cocktail 25eur

Pros: Veg menu, No msg?

Cons: Not the best food

What do you expect from a restaurant serving dead body parts? I avoid any place that sells meat

Some vegan options, but rather blend tasting

The menu has a seperate list with vegetarian options (but beware, it also mentions a dish with shrimp paste). Checked for use of osyersauce/eggs and was said to be ok.

Ordered the tofu and vegetables (and soy sauce) and the red curry. Although the curry was labelled as medium hot, it was actually a bit bland. The tofu dish was nice, and lots of vegetables, but all in all didn't have that much flavour neither.

Service was friendly, It took some time before we received the menu cards, and subsequently our order was taken, but food was served quickly after that.
