Increíble restaurante con gran dueño - Edit
Comí aquí hace unas semanas con mi novio y nos encantó. La comida era increíble y me encantó el ambiente, en particular los asientos en el piso. El dueño fue increíblemente amable y servicial, incluso nos llamó un taxi porque teníamos que tomar un autobús. 10/10 :)

Un lugar completamente vegetariano, con opciones variadas que abarcan desde comida tradicional Uruguaya (chivito, bife con papas, hamburguesa) a comidas más internacionales como los doblados (dosas), los pokes y demás.
Read moreEl ambiente es hermoso, único. La iluminación es cálida y tenue, pero no oscura; muy agradable y acogedora. A lo largo de todo el local se pueden apreciar murales y grafitis representando deidades y conceptos budistas e hindúes, hechos con suma maestría y que le dan un aspecto inspirador, emotivo. Lo más atractivo son las mesas bajas, rodeadas de almohadones para que te sientes en el suelo. La sala entera está alfombrada, llena de paraguas chinos tradicionales, lámparas y cuadros. En los días de frío, puedes solicitar una mantita para acurrucarte y estar calentito (además, cuentan con calefacción).
El staff es súper amable y servicial, nunca jamás tuve nada que reprocharles. Siempre dispuestos a explicar, recomendar, acomodar e incluso conversar. Personas humanas, cuidadosas, amables, que te hacen sentir bien.
La comida es de primerísima calidad, los sabores se mezclan unos con otros como tejiendo un hermoso telar, como notas en una canción. Las ensladas son frescas, variadas, satisfactorias. Las porciones son abundantes, no te quedarás jamás con hambre. Los postres merecen un reconocimiento aparte, pues son intensos, sabrosos y no demasiado dulces.
Por más indulgente y sabrosa que resulte, la comida no cae pesada, pues es equilibrada y saludable. Es un mimo al alma y al cuerpo.
Lo considero un imperdible, todos tendrían que visitarlo. De mis favoritos de la ciudad, y el país.
Recomendación: Poke Aloha y postre de Ganache de Chocolate con Frutos Rojos.

I love this place, it is one of the best and also first vegetarian restaurants and since then has improved and incorporated many vegan options. They've a fusion cuisine with many items to choose from, including plant-based adaptations of local-dishes. Smoothies are super nice and nutritive. Vegan items and ingredients are clearly labeled. The chill area is super nice as an alternative experience where you can take your shoes off and sit on cushions on top of a beautiful carpet.

I didn't want to leave Montevideo without trying a chivito... thanks to Namaste I could have a vegan one. The restaurant is very beautiful and the lady who waited on me was really nice.

The service was good, but the food was average and by far the most expensive meal we've had in South America... It was the first meal we ate in Uruguay, so we thought the prices might be standard, but we've since found much cheaper (and better) vegetarian and vegan food in Montevideo.

This is probably one of the best restaurants where I have been in my l'asta trips abroad. The owners and the people working there are nice, attentive and smiling, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is great - simple, fresh, well cooked.

The owners I assume? Or people who worked there were so friendly, welcoming, and kind! They offered us chivitos and made sure mine was vegan. The food was great, and the atmosphere was so serene and just a beautiful space. What a great meal. The vegan chivito was delicious especially with the sauces!
