Good vegan options - Edit

This Indian restaurant offers vegan options that are well labeled on the menu. The food was tasty and the waiter helpful.

Excellent vegan options, clearly labeled - Edit

The food was great, the service was great and it's within walking distance of the French quarter.

Pros: Samosa, Fried Jalapeno , Gobi Manchurian

The food had so much flavor and the staff was helpful. The menu is well marked

Mixed Bag - Edit

Loved the clearly marked vegan options and the dishes we got were good. However service was lacking. We were not checked on once during our meal, while other tables got checked on several times. I also ordered spice level 7 out of 8 and I'd say the samosas were just as spicy (more of a 3) which was disappointing. We had to ask again for the coke we ordered as it was forgotten by the time our entre came out. I think there was a disagreement in the staff on who's section was who's.

Tldr: I'd get take out, and have hot sauce ready.

Delightfully Different - Edit

The menu had clearly labeled and thoughtful vegan options and a good deal of them. It’s more of a modern Indian Cuisine with dishes I’ve not seen at other traditional Indian restaurants. The food was great, we ate everything and the service was superb and accommodating.

Best meal I had in New Orleans - Edit

This was a surprise. We were heading back to the hotel and I had to eat something. I got tired of vegan versions of non-vegan food, so I decided on Indian food. The menu says Indo-Chinese. Perfect.

I got the mango dal with roti. The flavor was amazing. The portion was just right. The spice level was on point. The roti was excellent. And it was not too pricy.

The service was good. One server was really friendly, and the other server never smiled. But the food came quickly and was nice and hot. No complaints there.

The restaurant was very clean. It did not have its own restroom, but there was one in the lobby of a hotel just outside. There was a sink to wash your hands though. I don't know why I'm telling you this; I just thought it was interesting.

I ordered the palak paneer, which had great flavor. Their assortment of veg and vegan options was adequate and appropriate for a standard Indian menu. I wish them well.
