I had a vegetable korma that was actually really tasty, but I had to explain what vegan meant and what I didn't eat (staff is Nepalese and speak good English). They asked me if I could eat carrots ♥️

First: Non of the dishes except for the plain rice is vegan, but the vegetarian dishes and the garlic rice can be made vegan. Consult with the waiter.
Read moreWhen we asked for vegan food, the waiter didn't know what vegan meant, but when we described the word, they easily told us what we could order.
We had to be very clear on what we could eat and not, but after some consultation they knew what we wanted.
The food tasted really good and the the sevice was very nice. It didn't seem like they were used to veagns, so since it this is very close to our hotel, I think we will go here again, both because the food is delicious and so they get more used to vegan costumes.
The only down side is we forgot to specify that we didn't want milk in our tea, and all tho we had said many, many times we don't consume milk, they still manage to give us tea with milk in it.
We got an apology and new tea without milk. They are very kind here.

Good cheap Indian good - Edit
Get the set menu and it will satisfy you, only around 800-1000 yen. Taste is pretty good but the spice levels are according to Japanese palette, if you pick spicy you will still get a very non-spicy version XD

この辺では一番おいしいインディアンレストランだと思います。

もう何回も行っていますが、オーダーするのはベジタブルカレーのセット（800円）です。
カレーのほかにナンまたはライス、サラダ、ドリンクが付いてきます。
ドリンクはチャイかウーロン茶を頼みます。
チャイにはミルクが入っていますからヴィーガンではありませんのでお気を付けください。
テイクアウトもやっていて、毎日たくさんのお客さんがお店の外でならんで待っていますね。
人気店なんですね。確かにおいしいです。
I have eaten Indian curry so many times here.
I order vegetable curry set (800 yen) every time.
It includes curry, nan, salad and drink.
It tastes good.
I think this is the best Indian restaurant around here.
