Special Place - Edit
We went here back in November and very much enjoyed our evening. We understand it has since closed, but is looking for a new location. We tried a bunch of items and everything was fantastic. We truly hope to enjoy it again in a new location in the future.

Warm Place 💚 - Edit
When I made my reservation, I was told that the menu would change the following day for the next 2 weeks before the restaurant resumes the first menu. The new was named “Italian Summer Dinner Part 3.” And boy was it amazing!!
Read moreThe predominant flavor/ingredient of the savory dishes was tomato. My Caprese and Risotto al Promodoro were totally tasty and satiating.
No proof Mule was excellent. I also ordered gelato as a dessert. It tasted great as well😄
Jenny was such a friendly person 🫶🏻 She was very helpful and caring.
Would love to go back again next time I am in Portland.

Disappointed - Edit
Visited this weekend, and had quite the lackluster experience. Staff made jokes with us about being late, despite the fact that we had altered our reservation time to a later slot. Ordered one of the frittata specials, a sandwich, and the charcuterie board with two drinks. We were clear with the staff that one of us cannot consume citrus, and despite acknowledging this, recommended/provided a lemon based seltzer. We waited over 40 minutes for our charcuterie board, and another 20 minutes for our other dishes while the restaurant was fairly empty; only two other tables were occupied the entire time we were there. It seems absurd to take 40+ minutes on assembling pre-made cheeses, meats, and crackers. The ambiance has a lot of potential, but the chef was repeatedly throwing dishes into a sink (the space has an open air kitchen) quite loudly, disrupting the music and overall vibe of the dining area. While the frittata with tomato confit was tasty, I was slightly disappointed that it was made from Just Egg without being labeled as such on the menu. The sandwich was so oily it was not pleasant to eat, giving the impression of a grilled cheese more than anything. Overall, we left feeling disappointed, hungry, and uncomfortable with our experience.

Cons: Loud chef in open air kitchen, Significant wait time for food, Some processed items (Just Egg) not labelled

Loved the violife/bacon grilled sandwich, the frittata and the fondue-for-two. Fun wines by the glass and flights. Welcoming atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Cozy, lovely - Edit
I really enjoyed having a light meal and glass of wine at Nectaris. I haven't eaten French onion soup from a restaurant in ages! It was a fun way to enjoy a delicious bite of food from these chefs without spending so much to go to Astera. It's a must visit!

Fantastic and Welcoming - Edit
Amazing food and lovely atmosphere that makes you feel comfy.
Read moreThe frittata was incredible, my favorite by far. The fondue is a very close second. It was really fun to dip all of our food in and make kebabs. The macaroons were airy and fluffy.
We also got the canned snowcrab with cheese.
I'm definitely coming back again.

Absolutely Wonderful - Edit
Nectaris is in the same location that Fermenter was previously. All the food we had was wonderful and very tasty. The Basil Chive Brie on my pressed sandwich was my favorite part. My husband really enjoyed his French Onion Soup. Everything was amazing, including the wine!
