Shockingly good for vegans - Edit
I totally expected this to be a limited menu option kind of place. 100% wrong. It’s great. All the food is delicious. And buy the salad dressing to take home.

Clearly labelled vegan options - Edit
Vegan options are clearly labelled. Food is delicious and so flavorful. They can make food VERY spicy if you want it that way (but don't have to). Highly recommend.

Same meal doesn’t taste as good here - Edit
The same meals I get at this location don’t taste the same as the other locations. Have several vegan options but MAKE sure they are vegan. Order my food and ate it only to find out later it definitely was not vegan had severe stomach cramps🫠

We meet up with friends and family often. The vegan options are good and seems like employees seem to understand what vegan means.

neighborhood vegan caribbean in asheville nc? yep - Edit
With a surprising amount of both vegan and gluten free options for caribbean style, the menu was accomodating and interesting. All food served was really fresh and tasty, especially the salad. Great beer selection, kombucha on tap. Good casual neighborly vibes, didn’t feel touristy or pretentious. Seemed like a nice place to eat at the bar too, if thats your thing. Excellent service and not overpriced. My wife and I both had to take leftovers to go. Enjoyed the reggae music. Definetly will go back.

Local Favorite - Edit
We live in Asheville and my vegan daughter and I love, love, love Nine Mile. We live in West Asheville and go to the Nine Mile West most often but either location is great. For vegetarians I highly recommend the One Foundation with Tofu, for vegans, my daughter gets the Jamaican Me Thirsty. They make the best vegan curry soups I have ever had--these are daily specials that change, but if they have a curry soup, get it. We have had consistently good service, they serve a large variety of local beer, and everyone we bring here loves it.

Amaaaazing best restaurant I’ve ever been to - Edit
I have gone here for years and the food is sooo good. I highly recommend this place. They have vegan dishes and pretty much everything else can be made vegetarian if you ask for tofu. This is definitely my favorite restaurant and everyone should try it!

Never disappoint - Edit
We come here a few times a month and always have a great experience. The food is tasty, the portion is big enough for two, the price is right and the ambiance is great. What else could you ask for?

Great for mixed groups, dates, friends, everything - Edit
Something for everyone. Their signature dish is pasta and it's absolutely delicious. After trying it once now I go for lighter fare - either a pasta dish with the zucchini noodles or one of their incredibly good salads. The jerked tofu can either be amazing or kind of meh depending on the night, sometimes it is overcooked. The seasoning is always on point though. Love the ambiance and the prices aren't horrible. Expect a wait at normal dinner hours most days of the week. No reservations.

Do not go here!!!! - Edit
If I could, I would give this restaurant a 0 rating. We did not even finish ordering and we stormed out! The waiter was so ugly, rude, and sarcastic. I asked if the Hummus was vegan to double check and he was very sarcastic with me and then was incredibly rude when we asked if my brother who is diabetic and has food allergies if he could just microwave his special chicken nuggets we brought and he was so rude and personal we thought we were getting pranked it was so bad. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!

One of my favorite meals ever! We've been to both locations and I enjoyed both, but this location is a bit more open and relaxed. They do serve meat and seafood but everything is clearly marked that it is, or can be made vegan.
