Not dog friendly! - Edit
We made a trip to Macclesfield especially to try out Ethos but when we arrived we discovered that it doesn't allow in dogs. It was a cold day so we didn't fancy sitting outside so asked to see the takeaway menu. The guy we talked to had a decidedly unlovely attitude so we didn't stay and didn't try any of the food. Shame because the reviews are good and we would have loved to try something.

Amazing find ! - Edit
We left Macclesfield a few years ago to go to Hebden Bridge where we found more vegan restaurants as Macclesfield had nothing really. After coming back to visit Macclesfield we Find Ethos with the most amazing Vegan greek food we have ever tasted.

Good options - Edit
Lovely menu with a variety of choices. We went for lunch and the Pita Gyro was great. A great concept around sustainability and offering great vegan food in a comfortable setting. However the service was very slow and we had to wait a long time for our food. We weren't in a rush but if you are perhaps it could be an issue.

Great knowledge of food allergies - Edit
My daughter is allergic to all tree nuts, the staff are very friendly & knowledgeable, having employees with NUT allergies & a full food allergies listing of products on sale. Our waitress gave excellent guidance/recommendations off the lunch menu & drinks. Definitely going back, highly recommend.

Decent options - Edit
Came here on a Saturday with some friends. The staff are really attentive and friendly and the restaurant itself is cute.
Read moreThere are a decent number of options for main meals along with smoothies, juices and breakfast items.
I opted for the tacos which while nice were quite expensive at £9.50 for two with a bit of salad. I did also feel they were slightly under seasoned but I suspect this may be because they’re a healthier restaurant so probably limiting the use of salt.
The smaller main did give me enough room to try the cake which was delicious. It was a large piece that came scattered with flower petals.
They had a number of other baked goods on offer such as cookies. It’s a good option for vegans in Macclesfield.
Pros: Fully vegan
