Lovely food and coffee - Edit
The cafe was busy but they quickly found space for us and our dog. My carnivore partner had a great range to choose from but I found 2 lovely vegan options - a parsnip and apple soup or chickpea non- tuna sandwich. The sandwich sounded lush but I went for the soup which turned out to be an excellent choice - rich, thick and homemade, served piping hot! My partner finished off with a slice of Yorkshire tea loaf and Wensleydale cheese which was veggie not vegan but looked lovely. Our coffees were good too - rich flavours and plenty of oat milk at no extra cost. The staff were so friendly and we were made to feel most welcome.

Nice vegan lunch - Edit
Lovely cafe for breakfast and lunch with several vegan options. I would say that they have more vegan options than anywhere else in Pickering.

Delicious! - Edit
The Chuna Mayo was delicious! Lovely, friendly service and even a vegan fruit scone to finish off. Cute, quirky little café. Will be back 🙏🏻🌱

Yummy lunch! - Edit
Stopped here on the way to Whitby based on recommendations on here and was not disappointed. Helpful and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere on a sunny and busy lunchtime. I had an oat cappuccino and a roast veg, pesto and vegan cheeze panini served with crisps and a fresh side salad. Would recommend and will stop again!

Friendly - Edit
A fairly small place. Staff were very friendly. We had a vegan sausage sandwich and crumpets with margarine. Vegan cakes on offer but didn’t try these. Oak milk available.

Just offers the minimum - Edit
Could be more imaginative as far as cakes are concerned. If the only option is a vegan flapjack (seems to happen quite often at cafes) then we normally think the business isn’t really that bothered about seriously catering for vegans. It’s a shame but we feel they could definitely do better.

Friendly cafe, great food - Edit
Little gem of a cafe in Pickering.
Read moreA number of homemade vegan lunch/brunch options including a choice of scones/tiffin.
Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, with tables inside and out.
I had a delicious roast veg and pesto panini followed by oat tea with a homemade vegan fruit scone which was miles better then the one I had at Betty's tea room in York!
Pros: Homemade food, Good portions
