Restauracja Aavri Hotel - Edit
Przyszliśmy w godzinach kiedy goście hotelowi kończyli kolację. Kelner powiedział, żebyśmy wybrali sobie coś ze szwedzkiego stołu, a oni nam to policzą do rachunku. Z wegańskich opcji był tylko dal z żółtej soczewicy, ryż, chlebki Naan i papadamy. Dodatkowo była lemoniada z syropem ananasowym, deser z kostek kokosowych i pani przygotowująca puri nadziewane ziemniakami. Na wynos zamówiliśmy birjani, które kucharz specjalnie przygotował, niestety było dość słone. Miła obsługa, spore porcje, niskie ceny wegańskich posiłków. Przy restauracji jest klub nocny, więc jest dość głośno wieczorem.

Recently I had the pleasure dining in a venue that I lauded for being impossibly cheap and yet still pretty darn good; this place passed it on both accounts.
Read moreHoused, quite bizarrely/interesting, within the central atrium of it host hotel, this restaurant gave a spread that while not extensive in terms of items, certainly punched above its weight in quality and flavour.
As ever, I feel you can really get the measure of a breakfast buffet by the standard of the most pedestrian of their dishes, and so it was a clear indication that this was going to be good when I found myself gushing over the baked beans. The hits kept coming in the form of the beautifully spiced roasted potatoes, the equally well balanced foul and bhaji, and even the fresh cut fruits were deliciously moreish. This all said though, the true pièce de résistance of this meal were the poori. They were giant, fried discs of pure indulgence and I devoured enough of them to sink not just a small ship, but quite a sizeable one.
There’s no way that I can ignore this as a potential go-to option when the mood for breakfast strikes, it represents such great value for money and delivers a wholly satisfying experience.
