Soy cliente de este lugar desde hace muchos años. Su menú diario es muy rico y sus platos a la carta son deliciosos. Recientemente añadieron nuevos ítems en la carta que están mind-blowing. Prueben su nueva parrillada y las nuevas burgers. Los postres también son deliciosos, especialmente la torta Ópera y las tartaletas de chocolate. El staff es muy amable. Varios amigos non-veg se volvieron fans de este lugar después de llevarlos a comer champipapas y probar su torta de maracuyá.

Great options and delicious vegan cakes - Edit
We visited Omphalos 3 times while we were in Arequipa as they had both menu del dias and an extensive menu. We really enjoyed the food, it was tasty, filling and nutritious. The menu del dia was one of the best value that we have found, 12 sols for salad, soup, a main dish and a dessert (although this wasn't too exciting!). They also have a range of cakes and desserts that were all completely vegan when we visited and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend when in Arequipa.

We came here to try their lunch menu but in the end we made it back to this place for their amazing cakes. If you ever come here, it is a must to try their chocolate coffee cake - one of the best ones we ever tried!

I brought a non-veg friend here and really wish I had chosen someplace else. The service took forever, which would have been ok if the food was good….
Read moreWe didn’t eat most of what we got. I wouldn’t really have minded bc I like supporting veg places and don’t really mind if the food isn’t great, but this was a big disappointment to bring someone who is not veg.
The wontons were fine, the spaghetti was fine, but the omphalos was super small and the potato thing it came with wasn’t very good, and the vegetables seem like a frozen Bird’s Eye medley of carrots and peas that neither of us ate.
The one thing that was really good was their Red Velvet cake. I’m realizing now that I’m actually not sure if it was vegan or not— I got it thinking it was but I realized later that they serve dairy so maybe it wasn’t.
I really hope this place improves but there are so many better places to get vegan food in this town.

Read moreIn our main preparation we don't use dairy at all, we only add cheese to a dish if it's required. We only use whole milk in juices or coffee if it's required. Thank you for your comments once again.

Amazing food amazing prices - Edit
We went for the menu del dia, four courses for 12 soles! Good healthy food with flavour which has been hard to find in Peru. Everything cooked fresh on site, I had pesto pasta, and the sauce had been made from scratch. The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick! Cakes were also delicious!

I had the menu del dia which was all vegetarian and some of it was vegan. 4 courses for 12 s/ is so good, with all big portion sizes too. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

The courtyard is beautiful, the service is fantastic, and the food tastes like a meal I would make at home. Also, it was very cheap- we got the menu of the day. She helped us out by speaking some English and we had such a delicious and relaxing meal. Can’t recommend this enough

10 Soles vegan 4-course menu - Edit
Kind staff. Almost everything is vegan. Cheap daily menu. Salad, soup, main, desert for 10 soles. Four options to choose the main (only one not vegan). Rest is set. Changes daily. Portions of the main are big. You definitely wont be left hungry. Cake slices are also big. We went two days in a row. First day we had a menu each and one slice of cake (because it just looked too good). Second day we split one menu and a slice of cake. Recommend!
