Very spicy, but awesome food

Almost every food can be vegan or vegetarian. We asked for the Rabokki and the Korean Chicken. The first was awesome, the sauce was really good but (for real) beware of how spicy it is. The second isn’t something really special but it’s good.

Overall, it was pricey (15€/dish) but a nice Korean experience.

Pros: Korean experience , Sauces are very good , Lots of options

Cons: SPICEY, Lots of vegetarian dishes, not so many vegan

Delicious experience

I never ate Korean food before but I was definitely curious to try 😁! So finding a spot with veggie options was awesome! The place is small but cozy. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion but I think the portions they serve compensate 😉 The first time I went there was alone. The second was with a friend and I noticed, economically, that is better cause u can try more food. 🤌Now…A word of advice If you have never tried Korean food like me, just be aware about the amount of kimchi that you eat. I learned from the worst but delicious way hahaha 😅

Pros: Veggie options, Service, Environment

Cons: Pricey, Location, Capacity

Sensational Korean fried tofu

Firstly, I want to recommend that you do get a reservation in advance as the restaurant is quite small and has a 90min time slot for each table to eat. The staff is super nice and helpful but one thing that wasn't as nice was that their menu is on a tablet so you can see photos of the food but since they only have 2 tablets you have to wait for other tables to order until you can finally have a look at their menu.
Started with the Tte ok bo kki with gimmari and I wasn't a fan of the seasoning nor the texture. The gimmari, however, were delicious and I wish it was part of their menu so I could have ordered more!
The Korean fried tofu is a bit pricey but absolutely worth it because it is delicious, crispy and flavourful and the portion is quite generous. The Kimbap with kimchii cheese was good too.
Overall I had a pleasant dinner here and would come back, especially for the fried tofu.

Pros: Authentic Korean plant based food, Nice staff

Cons: Only 2 menus for the whole restaurant, A bit far from the downtown area

Reserva

Tem óptimas opções veganas, comida muito saborosa melhor kimchi que já comi.
Infelizmente não pode comer lá mais vezes porque não aceitavam mais pessoas ou pedidos de delivery

Pros: Comida saborosa, Ambiente simpático

Cons: Caro, Aconselho reservar

Would give it 5 stars if it were all vegan.

The options were delicious. You must make reservations as we were turned away the first day. When we got in the next day, we saw lots of people also turned away for lack of reservations. The food was so good that I ordered two extra plates to take away for the next day.

Leckere vegane Optionen

Fast alle Gerichte können veganisiert werden. Das Korean "Chicken", mit Tofu statt Huhn war der Knaller. Kross gebackener Tofu, innen total fluffig! Das Kimchi ist auch sehr lecker.

Pros: Viele Gerichte in vegan erhältlich , Netter Service

Vegan/Veggie options are pretty widely available!

We ordered 1. Fried Tofu (a vegan option of Fried chicken), 2. Kimchi fried rice(with fried sweet & salty seaweed), 3. Tteokbbokki (spicy cakes) with Kimmalis(fried seaweed glass-noodle) 4. vegan Kimbab plus Hotteok as a desert. A bit a lot for 2 peeps but cannot help trying all of them.

Firstly fried tofu was the best ever, beyond my expectation. Super crispy and soft inside. The sauce has a perfect combination of sweetness and spiciness. Really well-made. Even if you are not a vegetarian, I strongly recommend to taste it, cause you will never have the same food ever.
Kimchi fried rice was so tasty as well. Really impressed that the restaurant made a 100% vegan Kimchi, which means you are super safe from the Chinese gross Kimchi.

The owner listened carefully and kindly offered us vegan Kimbab for my boyfriend with all vegetable ingredients which she has. We are so touched. Moreover the taste was awesome with the Kimchi.

Lastly we challenged the most spicy level of Ttekbbokki! 😃 My boyfriend (French-South african, crazy for spicy foods) really love it. The kimmalis were super crispy and tasty as well, with Ttekbbokki sauce.

I took my boyfriend to several Korean restos in Europe, and he said this restaurant was the best. For me, as a Korean, this restaurant made a really home-made foods based on Korean authentic recipes and full of sincerity. We truly hope to visit again!!

Delicious Korean Food

Ondo Korean Kitchen exceeded all expectations I had a priori and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Korean traditional food doesn't have many vegan main dishes, but Ondo has a vegan option for most of the dishes available on their menu. To add up, they're all delicious and nutritious, using tofu as a replacement for meat.

All the restaurant's staff is also super nice and open to explain any doubt you might have about the dishes, their history or even Korea and the Korean language. I will certainly be back to taste more food. 🥰
