So good - Edit
I call this a vegan cafe, although they do serve cows milk. I'd urge them to ditch the cows milk and go fully vegan. The pastries are delicious and over Christmas they served a beautiful Xmas sandwich that I'm still thinking about. I love sitting outside watching the world go past. Really recommend this place.

Took one of each - Edit
We passed through here, looking for some sweet vegan pastry, of which they had plenty. So we took one of everything in the display shelf plus four of these "Snickers"-bars. I also got a coffee on the house.

*That was a joke, we had napkins.

Cardamom bun! - Edit
Loving the slightly stealth veganism of the bakery offer at this café. The array of bun flavours alone is gold standard - I've never seen such a wide range, vegan or not. Cardamom had the edge but chocolate and pistachio was great too (a touch of banana?).

Best coffee shop in Kent! - Edit
Sensational coffee and matcha and delicious Swedish buns. Food is vegan, only the dairy milk isn’t. They don’t always have lots of food left in the counter so come early if you’re wanting to eat! Worth a visit for the coffee and the buns. Only complaint is the charge for alternative milk.

Highly recommended - Edit
I was so happy to arrive here after France I almost cried😉Worth the little detour if you arrive from the ferry or tunnel.
Read moreThey had 2 sandwich options which were amazing. Good ingredients, nice bread and just a creative sandwich (pesto/rucola/avocado and a panco/tofu/carrot bahmi). So good I forgot to make a picture. Coffee was amazing as well. Take a stroll around the neighborhood too and cross the street to see the beach.
Only thing not vegan is that they still have 🐮 milk
Pros: Almost almost vegan, Good quality ingredients , Really good espresso
Cons: Not on the cheap side (still worth every penny)

An exciting find! - Edit
Such an exciting find! All of their cakes (they had a great selection!) and savoury food were vegan. The cakes were delicious! We got ours to go, and sat on the beach which is a 2 min walk away 😍

You have to try the Swedish buns - Edit
All their food is vegan, and the whole cafe would be if they didn’t serve dairy milk. They don’t do full lunches anymore, but it doesn’t matter because all the cake options are originals and delicious, with the Swedish buns being legendary. And you can take your food to the beach, or sit in for a leisurely vibe.

Good little café - Edit
It's a shame they don't go 100% vegan. They are very close! Almost all of the pastries were vegan went I went there (even though not clearly labelled) and they were tasty. Good coffee too.

Don’t expect food - Edit
We went to get brunch. There was none, just some pastries. The coffee was ok, no soya milk offered only oat, which is not my favourite, but I will take what is available.
Read moreMost pastries are vegan, but there is nothing to indicate that on the counter, other than the word of the server.

The best coffee in the area - Edit
The coffee is always amazing... Filter & espresso are superb. Knowledgeable and passionate staff are always happy to assist and suggest something new. You can buy beans from featured Roasters. Great selection of speciality teas, most of the menu is vegetarian with many vegan options. Cyclist and Dog friendly.

Great for Treats - Edit
Orchard land coffee house is a good place to go when you have a little extra time and money to treat yourself. It is vegan and vegetarian but there are more vegan choices.
Read moreThe coffee and all the vegan cakes are amazing. My boyfriend and I have tried every single one and love them all. The breakfast layer pot is delicious, and like a dessert for breakfast, but the vegan bagel is a little bit boring.
We love sitting in the sunshine in the window and watching people walk by.
Pros: Lovely Staff, Delicious Flavours, Great Coffee
Cons: Higher Price

Appalling experience - Edit
Awful experience that was not rectified by the owner in any way. My girlfriend and I are vegan and we were served dairy creme fraiche on French toast that was clearly listed as vegan. This is a dire mistake and my girlfriend has been really affected by this horrible experience. The owner was aggressive and dismissive, failing to take responsibility for this error. We will never be coming back and we urge any vegans or those with allergies to do the same as they are clearly incapable of following their own menu. Just another café jumping on the vegan ‘trend’. I want to give 0* but you can’t.

Lovely cakes - Edit
This newish coffee shop is a great lunch spot. Eat in or take out to the beach, there is always a choice of vegan cakes (Oreo cupcakes, chocolate cake, custard cakes filled with Oatly custard). Excellent quality coffee too with a choice of plant milks. In summer pop in for an ice cream to take out to the promenade.
