Indian cuisine with 8 items can be done vegan

I recently went to Pakwan for dinner. I am surprised it took me so long to visit here as was pleasantly surprised.

Here is the drill for dining at Pakwan as a vegan. There are 14 vegetarian entrees & eight of them can be made vegan. Decisions. My server recommended I try the Aloo Palak- Potatoes & Spinach so that is what I ordered. I enjoyed it as was quite alright.

Unfortunately the Naan contains eggs & yogurt so go with the roti which is vegan. The red chutney in a bottle in the fridge is vegan.

All in all was an enjoyable meal. Felt the Aloo Palak with one roti was plenty of food as didn't need to order additional rice.

Look forward to subsequent visits at Pakwan for affordable & flavorful Indian cuisine with plenty of vegan options.

Solid options

Several items are labeled as vegan on the menu, but it’s not completely accurate. You do still need to specify vegan. The samosas are labeled vegan but are not, they have milk. Food came in huge portions and was good, but not amazing. I loved the sag dal but the pakoras were dry.

Delicious Pakistani food in the TL!

This spot is a gem in the TL - the menu is clearly marked with vegan options and the food is always delicious! Last time I went, I got the samosas, pakora, saag Dahl, and basmati rice. The flavors are delectably intense! There are a couple of other locations in the bay as well.
