Delivery
Delivers prepared food with advance order required; its home restaurant at rua de St Ildefonso, 293 had shut down in Dec 2012. Food is based in Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisines with influences from other parts of the world.

Good central restaurant - Edit
Restaurant is sited on the edge of the central shopping district on a small busy road. There is a first floor dining area as well as the small ground floor area.
Read morePleasant service from good natured, English-speaking husband - his wife cooks.
Ambitious menu based on seitan and tofu, with for example sweet and sour and peanut satay sauces. Tasted good.
Three course meal for one with juice came to €21 (+ tip, no service charge included)
Open for lunch Monday to Saturday, dinner (20.00 - 23.00) Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday

Very Good - Edit
This was the best place we ate in Porto on our recent visit. A lovely airy restaurant. Good food. We went for lunch but if we were staying longer we would have returned another day. Definitely worth going to, not that far from Sao Bento station.

Super Veggie Restaurant - Edit
In a city whose mainstream eateries provide an extremely limited choice if anything for the veggie the Paladar da Alma was an oasis of super offerings. The restaurant has a cool feel with dining over two floors, soft music and a very pleasing ambiance. An interesting menu was well accompanied by a decent wine list. The cheese and walnut 'meat'balls were delicious and the banoffee pie out of this world, light, fresh and totally scrummy. The proprietor (who speaks good English) was a welcoming host and provided understated yet attentive service. Recommended.
